Okay?UltraByte said:I just finished reading a huge book on the Art of Walt Disney, and it said nothing about Fantasia being ahead of it's time.Propaganda Man said:I heard it at Disney World. I forgot where but it was part of whatever we were doing. They were talking about Fantasia and how it was ahead of its time.UltraByte said:Oh my god.Propaganda Man said:Disney World.UltraByte said:Where does it say that at? Proof plz, and don't give me Wikipedia.Propaganda Man said:Because the majority says it was ahead of its time. Disney says a decade.UltraByte said:I don't understand why I'm a minority. I'm a DISNEY GEEK. I know a crapload on Disney movies and stuff.Propaganda Man said:Well you really are the minority on this one.UltraByte said:Not really.Propaganda Man said:Was it ahead of its time?UltraByte said:Yeah, it was a 5 minute cartoon.Propaganda Man said:That was a show, right?UltraByte said:Steamboat Willie was more innovative than Fantasia, being the world's first cartoon to be synchronized to music.Propaganda Man said:Because Fantasia was a decade ahead of its time.UltraByte said:Then why'd you bring up Fantasia? You could have brought up Snow White.... Flowers and Trees..... Finding Nemo...Propaganda Man said:Storm said Star Wars was ahead of its time. I was giving another exampleUltraByte said:You were trying to.Propaganda Man said:I'm not talking about PixarUltraByte said:WHAT THE HELL.Propaganda Man said:Fantasia And Star Wars were ahead of their time. Thats why they came out at the right time. There was nothing else like it before.STORMCOMMANDER said:If by "timing" you mean because the movies were "beyond their time", then, yes, that has a little bit to do with their success. This, has nothing to do with luck or being "in the right place at the right time" of course though. Star Wars revolutionized movies. Think about it... THX... Pixar... special effects in general. These are some of the things that came from Star Wars and George Lucas.
FANTASIA?
Was done by Disney, NOT Pixar, thanks... Seriously, at least KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.
 Jeez.
Storm brought up Pixar, and you brought up Fantasia. Nice one.
 Its not a bad example.
I'm just gave a move as an example.
Did I do something wrong?
You didn't give a better example. Fantasia was amazingly good, but it wasn't the world's first cartoon to be synchronized with music, or the world's first appearance of Mickey Mouse, or the world's first fully colored cartoon, OR the world's first full-length feature animation.
That's not proof. I wanted a website or something.
But because I need to prove it to you I'm going to fly down there and recored it
