Love the new items, but...

personally i think all those would be a BIT much...but i think it would be nice to at least have the other consoles available for premium NSO users (which i think would be N64, GBA, and GC? and also the sega genesis but asking for that in a nintendo game is probably an even bigger ask than the wii) so they can use them like normie NSO users like myself can use the SNES/NES/game boy.

but ALSO even if they don't have any functionality, i think having a 3ds and wiiu available like they are in new leaf welcome amiibo would be cute and (for me) nostalgic.

i'm moreso disappointed that there's less in-game, uh...games to play, though i think that's probably my fault for misunderstanding the trailer. i thought it was going to be, like, a quick way to launch the virtual consoles from your animal crossing game, since it requires NSO anyway. or that there would be more games to collect like in the original gamecube animal crossing. but if it's just a few games i feel like you might as well make them available to all players. like, they bought your game for 60 dollars or whatever. and they've probably paid for online in the past too. maybe even the DLC. let them play dr. mario.

(of course i'm very against the whole NSO business model anyway but, i guess it works if i'm paying for it...)

i'm not as worried about no or minimal games to play on the consoles. just thought they would be fun decorations to have! but yeah agree with you at least some of the other retro consoles would be nice!

I would also like to mention that N64 games and GCN are too big to be “mini-games” like what Animal Crossing had. Imagine playing the GameCube Version of Animal Crossing as a mini-game of ACNH.

personally, I'd rather they didnt require nso to play their attached games. I'd of even taken less systems that are added already, as the tradeoff

like surely nintendo could've written off a few decades-old games for people already paying full game price to begin with

I wouldn't pay a DIME to get anymore consoles in the game. The consoles that are released play pretty crappy games imo anyway.

Plus I already have the NSO + Expansion pack and it already feels like a waste as it is.

I didn't get the switch lite...
It does require NSO, but you can still get the Switch Lite from the e-shop in case you want it!

Honestly agree with this, I'd take one not NSO game over all of them.

That being said though, it's what, 6 games as it is? Surely no one is paying for NSO just to play Dr. Mario/F-Zero/Ice Climbers/Panel de Pon (don't remember the others of the top of my head) anyway, and I don't think anyone would just for these titles. Would be no harm in just letting us have them in our $50+ animal crossing title...
