Ah, what about Monty the cranky monkey? People really don't like monkeys very much in this game but he was always so sweet to me.
Also loved Ed. I will never get him back now which is quite sad, he was lovely.

For the characters, I really like Phineas despite some people thinks he's a weird/scary old man. I find him very gentle and fatherly

Most of my villagers in my town are tier 5 so it looks like I do, lol. I like Gulliver too.

My roommate has Cookie, she is handsdown the funniest dog I have ever seen, and her house is great. I don't want her in my town, but I seriously appreciate her <3

I had Caroline in my town for a long time and absolutely adored her. She was a little spot of sunshine in my town for 2 years. I also grew to like Keaton, Diva, Baabara, Joey, Nana and Jerimiah. I would have kept Jerimiah but he put his house to close to mine, ruining the front view. That's a no no so he unfortunately he had to go go

I agree, I think Porter is really an underrated character and really unappreciated. He just lives to help you out to see your friends or go get cool stuff/villagers from friends :c Poor guy

not sure if he's unappreciated, but i don't really see many talking about him. digby is so adorable, and it's so cute when he wears his yellow raincoat when it precipitates.

When I first played ACCF, I had Limberg, Opal, Gloria, and Curt in my town and I loved them. Limberg was my best friend, and he never moved away. I liked Curt's design and Opal and Gloria's houses (of course, they never sold me anything I actually liked, but. . . ) I wasn't deep in the AC fandom to care about whether they were popular characters or not.

And then in ACNL, Jambette moved into my second town. Unlike my eight year old self, I've seen plenty of hate towards this frog and I was pretty sure I would hate her too. But she grew onto me, and my second character became best friends with her. I let her go though since she didn't fit into the theme.

Now whenever I see hate for them, I get kinda sad, but I'll still like the villagers no matter what.
