I had found a balloon in the sky, popped it, picked up the present but the present is nowhere to be seen in my inv! ): what gives?!

you received the gift of disappointment.

in all seriousness are you sure you picked it up and not a nearby item like a twig or a weed, other than that i dunno ive never had that happen before.

I had that happen to me today. It popped over a villagers house, sure I saw it drop into the flower bed but nothing there to pick up 😔

yeah, they'll disappear if you pop them in a field of flowers or something else, because there's no space for it to land ;-;
Likewise, if you shake fruit trees that are surrounded by flowers, the same thing will happen and the fruit will disappear

Thank you, I had no idea that that would happen 😂

I also learned recently that they made it in NH so that if none of the fruit has anywhere to land then it won't fall off of the tree at all, whereas in NL even if the fruit had nowhere to go it would still fall and disappear.

Pocket camp too, I don't get it why they made it like that :(
