Lost for ideas!!

So exciting that I'll be able to terraform relatively soon but don't know what to do with all these options!! Love that I can do different levels, change the water, add proper paths, place items outside etc - but so many possibilities! Seeing some seriously cool islands already, wish I could visit them via dream suite like in NL - hoping some sort of feature to visit others towns may be added in soon? But anyway, need some cool ideas for areas in my town please! All I have in my brain so far is the standard playpark which I always do. Don't know all that much of the new items yet so would be great for some suggestions! Please and thanks in advance

All my landscaping plans were shot down in flames by the absence of bushes, among other things.

I do miss bushes too, would be cool if they ever got added back - but I've at least seen some pretty cool fence/walls to separate things with! Although I know not the same effect... never know maybe if not bushes like before we could get a bush item!

Think the fences are ugly.
I won't have a switch for a couple of weeks, but I'm already stuck.

Not a single thing I wanted is in the game.

I know people including myself, are clinging to hope that they'll readd all the missing items and furniture, bushes etc, but before the game came out I expected MORE tree and bush varieties.

I certainly didn't expect them to be removed.

I plan to add a cemetery (I imagine I will have to wait until Halloween for the DIYs), and my friend is doing a beach-side bar!
You could also get a couple of those tourist telescopes from the nook miles machine and put them on a cliff overlooking your island, and add benches and flowers and things like that around them so that it would be a nice area to sit!

I'm not sure if we're eventually getting a cafe in its own building (or at all), but you could make a character that has a restaurant / cafe themed house and put a sitting area outside with fences and tables! Or a little amusement park area with the teacup ride / cotton candy machine / rocket ship / etc! I know these ideas are pretty basic but the fun thing about them is that everyone can put their own spin on them

(I do hope they bring bushes back soon. Even two or three bushes could give an area so much more personality.)
