Lost Connection to A Friend

I apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forums, I'm new here and was unsure whether this would go in Train Station or here.
I was playing with a new friend on the Island. We were about to exchange friend codes when we were disconnected. Is there any way to find people or does anybody know her? Her name is ✝Bunny (there was another symbol at the end of her name, however I can't remember what it was). Thank you for your help!

I'm afraid the only way would be to keep island hopping and hope to run into her. If you could remember her town name, you could try searching in the Dream Suite. If she caught your village/mayor name, maybe she will visit your town in a dream and one of your animals will mention her and you can get the info that way. I had the same thing happen on the island with a girl named Colors from the town of Colorful. She visited me in a dream, but I had no way to visit her back because my search in the Dream Suite wouldn't find her.

Okay, thank you for your help I'm continuing island jumping. When I looked up her name in the dream suite, nothing came up, so I'm afraid she doesn't have her town in dream sharing.
