Katrina will tell your fortune for 100 bells, they will reset at midnight, but their effects may continue the next day.. There are 5 possible fortunes you can get - health, wealth, love, friendship and things(?) - each one consisting of good luck and bad luck, increasing it to a possible 10 fortunes, their effects listed below;
Health (good): Bee’s don’t fall from trees as often, and if they do they will move at a much slower pace. Immunity to mosquito bites.
Health (bad): Fall down when running, bee’s fall from tree’s more often, and move faster. Mosquito bites are more common and jelly fish are more likely to appear whilst swimming.
Wealth (good): Amount of bells obtained via the money rock increase. Certain items may sell for 1.5x more at R. Parkers (Re-Tail).
Wealth (bad): Amount of bells obtained via the money rock decrease. Certain items may sell for half the price they normally would at R. Parkers (Re-Tail).
Love (good): Conversations with villagers of the opposite sex are ‘better’ - more likely to ask you for favors/give you free items.
Love (bad): Villagers of the opposite sex are less likely to talk to you and ask you for favors/give you free items.
Friendship (good): Relationships/conversations with villagers of the same sex will improve.
Friendship (bad): Relationships/conversations with villagers of the same sex will decrease.
Things (good): Villagers will sell you items for less bells, more likely to get rare items from Sahara/Fortune Cookies.
Things (bad): Villagers will sell you items for more bells, less likely to get rare items from Sahara/Fortune Cookies.
Additionally Katrina will also tell you the name of a piece of clothing which will help your luck.
