looking for villager recommendations!

This may be kind of odd, but anyone have any villager recs? I’m trying to find some new favorites (hopefully with varying personalities) that will mesh well with my current set up.

Here’s who I currently have and will be keeping: Beau (lazy), Apollo (cranky), Marshal (smug), Kid Cat (jock), Punchy (lazy), Genji (jock), and I will be getting Bob (lazy) once his amiibo card comes in.

I also have Merengue (normal), Olive (normal), Rodeo (lazy), and Bam (jock) who I like but am debating whether or not to keep.

So, any suggestion? All of my most favorite villagers are lazy, and there’s clearly an over-representation of cats too lol. Unless I go with an all-boy town, I need at least 2 girls because I don’t want to have just one. I’m also trying to find a way to balance out having 3 cats, so I’m looking for a good repeat of any of my current species as well.

Okay, here are some of my personal favorites:

Normal: Goldie, Merengue, Bea, Lily, Chevre, Ellie
Lazy: Erik, Sherb, Zucker
Peppy: Merry, Maddie, Ketchup, Peggy (I know she's not popular at all but I find her cute), Puddles
Uchi: Katt (I know that lots of people find her ugly but I feel like her looks fit the personality so well... plus she's just like an ordinary stray tabby cat in my eyes), Hazel (also considered undesirable by many but again - I find her looks fitting), Plucky (a very underrated chicken villager).
Snooty: Olivia, Monique, Tiffany, Bree
Jock: Tad, Mac (I know not many like him but he looks like a pug and that's my favorite dog breed), Louie
Cranky: Octavian, Boyd (both are on my island so I'm probably a bit biased but I love Boyd's design though I know he's not at all popular)
Smug: Not the biggest fan of this personality to be honest so if I were to pick one I'd go with Henry just because he was a resident in my NL town and was always super kind to me.

So yeah, these are my choices. Probably not the most popular or conventional besides a few.

i think u need a peppy villager, my absolute favs are Ruby and Dotty so i recommend them

With your setup I think my favorite snooty (Diana) and my favorite peppy (Bianca) would go great <3

I would say go for some villager species diversity! I like not having more than one of each species in my village (that's why Rosie is on the chopping block!).

I love, love, love Jacques. I think he would fit nicely into your town.
