Sure! I'll add you in a bit. I've still got company over, so if you're willing to wait I'd love to have you over.

It's common courtesy not to talk to villagers because if they are in boxes/about to move, they may end up moving to your town if you end up talking to them, which is why it's best not to talk to them (sentence sounded pretty redundant, but you get the point) P: You never know whether the host would like to keep the villager or if they're holding them for someone else, so yeah! Always best not to.
