That's really nice of you, doing ALL those reviews for free c: I was really excited for my review tbh, but being patient totally paid off! Seriously, can't thank you enough for this lovely review <3

Town of Tazmily:

Wow, you really do have an astonishing number of flowers (a good number of which are hybrids which I love to see). Interestingly enough, your town still showed thoughtful organization, and there was actually very little randomness to it from my perspective! Yours was a very lush, green environment with all those orchards, bush starts, and bamboo, which made your town extra vibrant without the need for flashy QR tiles. The natural-looking stone pathways look like they were made for your town, and they really blended in quite seamlessly with the stonework in the plaza and in front of Town Hall. I also got to meet villagers that I scarcely run into, as an added bonus!

Gabriel's house seems to still be under construction, so I will look forward to see what you have planned for that space. I thought that the pink and white cosmos framed with the azalea bushes around Molly's house were stunning! I loved the way that the striped fabric you used on the alpine furniture matched the purples in the round carpet. It looked like a nice little spot to kick back with a light snack or some coffee. Pink was definitely the dominant color in the left-hand room, and those pieces from the lovely set really popped! Very feminine and eye-catching, though I might suggest using a different carpet/floor since you used the same one in the main room. The gorgeous room in the back was a nice showcase room for your villager pictures, trophies, and dress collection. You may want to place some of those trophies or pictures on tables though, although finding table to fit your space requirements might be a bit tricky and could require some reconfiguration. The wildflower floor you used in your right room transformed your mush set into an enchanted forest! The hammock with the polka-dot pillow was a stroke of brilliance, if I may say so as well. The only item in the room I was uncertain about was the trash can, but other than that this was a great setup! The upstairs room looked very warm with all the modern wood furniture and the matching floor and wall. The bookshelves in the corner, the globes, fossil exhibit and computer gave the room a very scholarly feeling. I *might* think about switching it either the wall or floor, as the two together are very match-y with all the striping, but that's just my opinion!

You are definitely making excellent progress and you *should* be proud of what you've accomplished in your town! Thanks for responding to the thread, and for giving me the chance to see how far you've come already. :)

Town of Oakwist:

The tiles that you began to place at the foot of the bed were nicely matched to the stone in the plaza. It seems you still have a fair amount of pathing to do, but it looks like you've got the framework all laid out, as you have already planted lots of bushes and begun to arrange some of your flowers in organized groups in certain sections. You've got some really nice villagers going for you here too: Bones, Rolf, Flurry, and Static are all villagers I'd welcome into my own town if I had the room, and Pietro was my most recent addition (dreamie of mine). Clyde was a former villager of mine and was always very nice to me, so it was good catching up with him again too! I noticed that the Flurry was very much outnumbered by all the males, but it was kind of cool to see more of a masculine lineup as a change from all the cutesy-ness. I saw that you built quite a number of streetlamps, so it was a good idea to update during night where they could really shine (apologies for the lame joke).

Vala's house: Not all that many people seem to make use of gyroids, but that is clearly not your way of going about things! The gyroids in your front room certainly made their presence known with all that gurgling and gargling. The ivy wall was a nice choice with the weeding day items and plants in the room. As a lover of all things Harry Potter, the Hogwarts-inspired study in the back had massive appeal to me, and the bathroom had a rather Japanese flavor to it which helped to set it apart from other bathroom-style rooms that I have visited. When I walked into library in the left-hand room, I thought that I had inadvertently stepped into a firing zone with that cannon pointed straight at me! The mannequins dressed in uniform gave the a decidedly historical feeling. The room upstairs was small but very handsomely furnished -- actually, I don't think any further expansions are all that necessary, as the size felt just right for a bedroom.. I really liked the way that you inverted the colors of the two beds. The basement was very creepy indeed - once I saw the axe and the electric chair in the back, I hightailed it out of there pretty quick!

Sophia's house:The office in the main room was rather uniquely decorated and not likely to be replicated by anyone else (which is a credit to you!). I really liked the laboratory you set up in the left-hand room and the way that you displayed your collection of different ores. The black and white coloring gave the room a very clean and clinical look, which was certainly fitting. The garden-style room in the back was so cool! Even the light from the firefly lamp seemed to emit a pale green glow, which was perfect! You had a very well-arranged public restroom, and what looked to be a small attic upstairs with some very appropriately selected furniture items.

Tom's house: The gyroids that greeted me in the front room matched excellently with the flooring and the decor in general. This room had a rather rustic feeling, and the sounds of the fire crackling in the background made it even cozier. The room to the left was a nice showroom for your collection of clothing items. I wonder what the 4077 lamps in the back signified? The back room just might be my favorite. It had a sort of rugged barroom feeling to it, the kind of place where you could go and throw back a few pints and chow down on a turkey leg! The bedroom to the right was simply but very effectively decorated, and the upstairs bathroom looked pretty rad with that shower stall and that red sleek stereo. Was quite impressed by the number of clam-shell music boxes you've made, and the setup you had going on downstairs was really great! Really liked the way the harvest wall and princess floor worked together, and there was a rather royal purple tinge to the room that was very eye-catching.

Town of Yggdrasl:

Firstly, the starry paths you used with the billow cloud detailing were utterly gorgeous. Walking on a starlit road in the evening darkness was a uniquely magical experience, and the gray paths you used in tandem with your own tiles meshed quite flawlessly. It almost looked like the gray tiles were inset with little blue gems, which worked very well with the twinkly stars. The blue, purple, and black hybrids (of which you had an enormous amount!) were wonderful 'midnight' colors that enhanced the ambiance of your town. I also loved how you devoted a section of your town to the illuminated public works projects, as they were an absolute necessity! The little clover path that trailed out from your drawbridge was very nice -- I was thinking that you could perhaps make more clover paths in the lower left-hand corner of your town around the log bench, bell, and picnic area (then again, the sea of of hybrids and golden roses that you had here really makes quite an impact as well!). You definitely seem to put a premium on flowers (and who could blame you?) but I might consider planting a few more trees or bamboo shoots in certain areas. There was also some empty space just below Path2's house where a house or PWP must have been demolished, so you'll want to put something there if you haven't gotten around to it already.

It looks like you're still in the process of setting up various sets in Path2's place -- I did like the corresponding Merlions and Pisces lamps you placed in your ice room, and the lunar horizon is an ever-popular match with the weeding day items. You had lots of nifty Japanese-themed items in Ginx's front room -- got a kick out of the lucky frog and the golden raccoon statue engaged in a game in the middle of the room. There was the one sword that partially blocked the doorway to the back room which you might want to move to another location. The sci-fi and pirate series were very cool to see in full, and your golden room upstairs was quite a sight! Those dharmas looked like a row of golden eggs with their backs turned toward the viewer and the extra golden items customized with ore made this room into a regular Midas's palace! The items from the cardboard series made for a very effective blend with the sloppy series in the basement as well.

You had lots of expensive and difficult-to-obtain sets in Path's house as well. I thought surrounding the moon with egg lamps in the back room was a really neat idea! The golden cabana furniture looked lovely with the island rarities and tropical flooring/vista, and the gorgeous set is always a handsome one indeed. The cloudy room upstairs was quite a treat, and it looked rather heavenly with the pure white furniture and the ivory piano all set up! I did like the customized stained glass in your 711 room, but I felt that it might be better suited in a different atmosphere. Then again, that might also be remedied if you were to change the wall and/or floor to something a bit more color coordinated.

I really enjoyed having the opportunity to explore Yggdrasl and chatting with your lovely villagers. I intend on making another trip, and will anticipate your future updates with eagerness!

Feel free to visit mine :) I updated it a week or two ago, but I'll be updating it sometime today as I've done a fair amount of landscaping!

Town of Amity:

I can tell that a lot of time must have went into planting all those flowers to create your path outlines. It will certainly make it a much easier job if you do decide to lay down path tiles! The purple and blue flowers that surrounded your fountain were amazing, love the way that those colors complement one another. I had a lot of fun chatting up your villagers too -- Phoebe made me laugh when she said: "Who are you to be all up in my dream like this?"

The front room of your house was very playful and had a bit of everything! I liked the way that you brought in furniture from many different series, and still made everything harmonize. You still have plenty of space to work with in the kitchen, but I'm really digging the color scheme you have going on. The flooring matches fantastically with the customized alpine chairs and the brown pot you have in the corner. The cactus that you have in the corner was actually a very interesting touch and ended up sparking an idea; I was thinking you could maybe make this room into a Southwestern style kitchen somehow, maybe by adding some other cacti, hanging a dreamcatcher on the wall, who knows! The upstairs room also had a motley assortment of different items. I would suggest getting a table for the two bonsai trees in the upper corner of the room, and perhaps finding another place for the metronome as that was also on the floor. While I liked both the wallpaper and flooring as individual pieces, I'm not quite sure that they worked as a pair color-wise, and you might want to experiment with different combinations. However, what's really important is whether or not you're happy with it! As a final suggestion, you'll probably want to add a room to the left hand side of Hannah's house (that's probably something that's already on your to-do list I'm betting) so that the exterior of the house is symmetrical.

You're making very good progress so far, and I wish you all the best in building up your town!

11 pages now.
Wow. You have been busy and will be busy for awhile longer. =3

I certainly have my work cut out for me! Luckily it's such fun getting to explore new towns that it really doesn't feel like work at all -- plus there's the added benefit of getting tons of inspiration and fresh ideas for my own place.

You're welcome to visit my town, though I haven't updated it lately.

Aww, thanks for your nice review :). It really made my day. I haven't worked on my house like other people do, I just think "oh, that would look cool there" and put it in, so I'm glad you liked it :).

Oh my gosh, thanks!! Wow, that's really more positive than I dared to hope for (and more positive than I think I deserve, haha). The main room is somewhat subject to change in design and floor/wallpaper whenever I feel like it (since the alpine series is so versatile), which is why I don't mind a repeat of flooring.
As for the hammock, I wasn't sure whether to use that or the mush bed, but opted for what looked more "natural", since a hammock seemed more likely to find in a forest than, well... an entire bed. The back room and the top floor I don't really know what to do with, honestly, I'm still figuring them out. I'll definitely keep your ideas in mind!

I'm really glad for the review, thank you very much!! :D

To everyone who has thanked me for a review that I haven't already responded to: it was my pleasure visiting! To everyone who has been patiently waiting for a review, my apologies for taking so bloody long! I'll do my best to get to you in as timely a fashion as I can manage. Now, without further ado...

Town of Pine:

You mentioned in your post that you didn't have a lot of fancy paths, but I think that the icy blue bricks you used looked just fine as is! Big bonus points for designing them yourself, as Wendell showed to me. Alas, that is one of the biggest flaws about this game: the limited room for QR codes. Between clothing designs, tiles, a town flag, wallpapers/floors, it's so difficult to make do with the few spaces that are allotted to us. You had lots of flowers, but still plenty of room to run around without wreaking havoc on your gardens. Your trees (and flowers for that matter) were planted in neat rows, and you've built a number of really cool public works projects already. I'd like to see some bushes added to your landscape as well, and perhaps some more bamboo. I don't know if growing hybrids is something that you plan to do, but it's nice to have those extra color options! Still, you clearly didn't need them to make your town look pretty and well manicured (I did notice the blue violets and the carnations though!). Really liking your villager lineup too -- you have a diverse mix of different species and quite a few under-recognized cuties. Coco is rad, Phoebe is gorgeous, and Butch has rapidly become one of my favorite crankies, just to name a few. :)

Stella's house: The plushy looking carpeting in the main room was very nice, and there was certainly a lot of variation in your furniture choices. The pink and white customized lovely furniture actually picked up the colors of the polka-dotted wall quite well. The room did have a certain randomness to it, but I saw on your map that you had four houses, and I know from personal experience how difficult it is to take on that many rooms! It looks like you're aiming to set up your own Club LOL in the back room (although the coelacanth would be a touch out of place in a club setting xD). This could be a really cool space once you've begun to fill it up some more. I was thinking you could section off the DJ's turntable with some barricades or rope partitions, maybe have a gorgeous counter in one corner of the room where drinks are served, incorporate some aurora screens for mood lighting. The bathroom seems to still be in progress -- if you can get your hands on more spa items, add some more plants in addition to the bonsai, and try changing out the wallpaper, I think that it will majorly help! The kitchen downstairs had many of the essentials and is looking good! I really liked the blend of pinks and purples in the upstairs room -- definitely my favorite in this particular house -- and the painting of Fauna was adorable.

Kate's house: Wahh, loved the creepy sign that greeted me at the doorway, and the music in all of the rooms was surprisingly unsettling in the context of the house. I certainly have never seen a gyroid pathway before, but it definitely was a unique way of utilizing those kooky little things. The blood-spattered wall, floor, and shirt in the right-hand room were wicked, and it was cool to see you making use of those QR codes that you designed. It seemed like you used the same design for the wall and the floor in all of the rooms where custom patterns were displayed. You might want to try mixing them up a bit, i.e., using the design for just either the wall or the floor instead of both. I bet you could find some cool wallpaper/flooring at the shop/in your catalog to pair with it.

June's house: This house is still clearly a WIP, but it seems pretty clear that you're planning on turning the main room into a Japanese-themed space. The back room was really lovely with all the plantlife and those couple of weeding day items. The picnic table and the wheat fields gave it a kind of quaint, countrified touch, and the hammock was perfect for that outdoorsy atmosphere. Upstairs was another assorted hodgepodge of items, and the music and dim lighting gave off a somewhat eerie and spectral vibe, although that might not have been done intentionally. I really liked how pinks and greens were emphasized in the basement -- on paper, the party wall would not seem to be a likely match for that particular carpet (forget the name of it now), but it actually worked much better than I would have imagined!

Ashley's house: Very neat reception area in the main room you've begun to put together. There isn't anything in the lower half of the room yet, but I am sure that that is pending. The dining area to the left was nicely set up, and I very much appreciated the fact that the flooring was another original design. The "arcade" sign you hung on the wall leading to your back room was a cool little directory for visitors. I actually think that the star pattern you created would have been a good fit for this room, but maybe you don't want to repeat yourself since it was also the design you used for the nightclub room in Stella's house. Loved your teddy bear collection and the other assorted toys in your playroom upstairs as well!

Thanks for letting me explore Pine, and good luck with all your future plans!

Town of Arnhem:

The light pink brick paths you used were clean and simple -- the fact that they were a more subdued shade of pink was a good thing in my opinion, since really bright pinks sometimes have a way of looking garish and in-your-face. The arrangement and landscaping of your town was very nicely done, and everything looked tidy and well-organized. I'm betting you did quite a bit of plot resetting to get your villagers in their desired spots too. You had no shortage of flowers, and I saw a good number of hybrids and carnations sprinkled in around various locations in your town. It's clear that you dedicated a lot of time to setting up your paths, PWPs, and filling your town with greenery, and the work you put in definitely shows!

Keke's house is clearly still being worked on, but it is clearly poised to be a house devoted to food sets. It seems like you've made the most headway in the main 7-11 room. I would suggest tinkering around with other wall/floor combos, as the ranch wall (I think it was) and the checkered floor made kind of an unusual juxtaposition.

The gorgeous front room made for a stately entrance to Someone's house. I loved the way that you coordinated the kitchen on the left-hand side! The modern wood floors lent just the right amount of color to the white walls, kitchen appliances, and minimalist furniture. The bathtub that was backlit by the aurora screen in the mermaid room created a mystical aura that really comported with the color scheme of the set. The Merlions and the stained glass were great added details too. I liked how you used mannequins in the princess room to display different fashions, although some of your fashion models are still bald-headed and begging for wigs! The rococo set is one of my favorites, and it's always a pleasure seeing it customized all in pink, as it was in your upper floor. The backyard style of your basement was delightful too! The wildflower floor and the weeding day items seem as though they were made for one another, and the flamingos, the bird bath, and hammock definitely brought the outdoors... well, indoors!

Keep up the great work on your town! I'd really like to see how things looks when you've done your next update. :)

Town of Paradise:

It's been quite awhile since I've woken up to a town set in the fall, and those honey-colored trees and autumnal brick tiles made me feel so warm and cozy! You had a veritable treasure trove of goodies and doodads for visitors to play with, which is always fun. Also, your dedication to plot resetting is second-to-none! I don't think I would have the patience to get villagers to line up their houses so perfectly, and I am really impressed that you managed to pull that off. Funnily enough, I saw Merengue and Ankha hanging out together when I first embarked on my journey (quite ironic because I just posted a thread about these two, and have been agonizing over which of them to keep as a neighbor). Your hybrid flowers were exquisite and very plentiful. The gold roses looked especially lovely in your fall setting. The flower-lined dirt paths that wove through your orchards made for a scenic route, and you did a nice job of making your various QR codes mesh. And what a cast of villagers!

Marco's house: The main room had a LOT of furniture! The yellowish-gold detailing on the regal furniture and carpet was quite a nice match for the items from the golden set, although I would consider taking out certain pieces (like the extra golden closet, one of the beds, and possibly the Spaceman Sam as he seems a bit out of place when he's not in zero-g) to free up some space. I loved the vivid colors in the upstairs leisure room. The darker blues in the cityscape wall and citrus flooring looked really good alongside one another, and the brighter hues of the orange slice and the polka-dot furniture really made the room pop! The library room to the left also had quite a lot going on as well. If possible, I would try to figure out a way to bring in some extra tables/counters to place the flowers and villager pics on.

Lydia's house: It looks like you're working on turning the main room into some kind of office space -- should be very interesting to see the finished product. The library on the left-hand side was really well done; the fax machine and the magazine racks were great extra details. The classroom in the back was well-arranged, and hospital room/nurse's wing to the right looked clean and antiseptic. The upstairs bathroom was made all the more original with the screens, the deer scare, and the outdoor bath for a soupcon of Japanese flavor -- I'd love to relax in one of those bathtubs with some aromatherapy candles! You had a very complete gym downstairs, and it's a good thing you remembered to provide a shower stall as well for sanitary reasons!

Flyffel's house: The main room had a very unique arrangement and made for a nice little parlor area. The sleek carpet always looks so soft and shaggy, so it's a good thing my little character gets to run around barefooted in dreams. The sushi restaurant, 7-11 room, and dessert bar all tied together very well thematically. I thought it was quite nice that you limited the number of sweets items in the bakery, since that is usually the more common route. Your miniature fossil collection upstairs made for a very impressive exhibit room, and your rec room downstairs was highly creative! The dim lighting really made me feel as though I was in a real-life arcade.

It was wonderful getting to explore your town! I'd definitely recommend it to others!
