Originally I was going to trade him to someone else for Coco, but when I try to contact that person they do not respond. And on top of that I have been growing attached to him...

should I just keep him?

I am not sure if its an 'okay' thing to do though.....

Honestly I think you should keep him. It's your villager, you can do whatever you want with him. And to me Coco is scary...

Contact him a couple more times and see. It's not your fault he doesn't respond.

Keep him if you want. It's his/her problem if they're not responding. Plus, Lobo is awesome. So is Coco (I have them both).

They're both awesome It's your choice to keep him or not. I get attached to my villagers so it's hard to trade them away for me.

I agree with the others, it's totally your decision if you want to keep him or not If they other person isn't responding to you it's not your fault at all! You do whatever you feel is best for your town. I have Lobo and I think he is awesome, I was genuinely upset when he made a mention about leaving so I just had to convince him to stay. Been harassing him with mails and presents ever since haha.

Has the person you're trading him to actually been online to see your messages? If not, then it would be kinder to be a little patient. People have real lives too.
