Limit on building bridges/inclines

I'm really depressed now. I just found out there is a limit on the amount of bridges and inclines you can build in your town. I know there was a limit in NL but I was really hoping this game removed in this given how large the map is now and with terraforming. I reached my max of 8 inclines and had at least 3-4 more planned...

Now I'm just trying to think of a work around for this and maybe there could be an overall limit of 16 bridges/inclines. I'm not going to build 8 bridges for my town... So if I had my 2 bridges and the rest be usable for inclines that would be swell.

i know! i think there could be so many cool designs and fun pathways with inclines/bridges, and it’s super sad they limit you to 8 of each : ( i’ve had to re-plan a lot of areas because it seems sometimes my island is too big to just have 8 inclines lol

Right? There is a natural limit for the amount of bridges and inclines already given the restrictions for building them in the first place. It puts a limit your creativity.

I would definitely have more than 8 of each if I could, definitely messed with my original plans a little bit.

I know! I was so bummed when I found that out ☹

Based on the way my town is set up, it means there's a cliff that I always need to use a ladder on (there's another way to get to it without it, but it means going way out of my way in order to do so). I just want ONE more ramp, but nope
