Life is like cake. (Or pie if you prefer, or a box of cookies)
You buy one.
You eat a piece.
Sometimes you invite friends over.
Then the cake/pie/cookies will be over sooner.
But mostly you save it for later.
Maybe someone secretly eats a piece.

But the cake/pie/cookies, can be over anytime.
So enjoy the treats. But save so it lasts longer.
