Buying LF - Good IV Hatenna, Hattrem or Hatterene and Wooloo?

I?m a bit new at breeding decent IVs and such but I really want to breed a shiny Hatenna ( bc I love that pokemon so much haha ) and I have a German Ditto that I got from here that has good IVs so I wanna get any one from this evolutionary line that has good IVs to start with?

If I?m understanding how to do this correctly, I gave my ditto destiny knot and it?ll inherit some of those IVs but I think it?d be better if both had decent IVs right? I DUNNO LOL. I have been playing Pok?mon all my life and never cared to try but I figured it?d be a fun first project to try.

So uhh. I?m willing to spend my bells and maybe even dip into some of the site collectibles if I have to if someone is super patient with me and can help me??

I also want to breed a good shiny wooloo for my girlfriend so I?m looking for a wooloo or the evolved form with good IVs.

I don?t have much to offer in game but if I have it, I can check for you and offer? Sorry I?m so bad at this.

I don't really have what you're looking for, but this video will really help you understand how to breed "competitive" or optimal pokemon. If you have a good IV ditto and you have a bad hattena you can build it up to better IVs by replacing the hatenna that you're breeding with as the IVs go up from hatched hatennas. The destiny knot is crucial to pass the IVs guaranteed so that you can eventually get a better one and make it easier for you to get the 5-6IV one you're seeking. Then, you can shiny hunt it and fix whatever you want with caps later

Edited my message a bit sorry :> but it's okay, it was really confusing for me at first too. If i'm correct the destiny knot just basically makes it so it passes a total of 5 IVs between both parents but that doesn't necessarily make it instantly great, which is why it can be time consuming

Also worth mentioning that you can give the hatenna an everstone once you have the nature you want so the babies will always have the nature no matter what, sorry if you already knew that ^^

No honestly, you're really helping me a lot here and I super appreciate it. I'm taking notes and it seems pretty straight forward if not just time consuming, which I don't mind seeing as hatching eggs and such is a super relaxing thing for me.

I was trying to hold off on getting the IV checker but I should probably do that since I've finished the game but just haven't finished the entire after ending part haha. Thank you again, is there anything I can do in return for this?? You have no idea how helpful it is to have someone being patient with me and explaining things in baby steps.

Nah it's all good! Also, for future reference since I know Hatenna is only female, but if you give a male the everstone with the optimal nature you want it's only 50% pass down rate, still useful but best to replace with a female so its 100% pass down rate once you get one with that nature. You can also pass down the parent's Pokeballs to the offspring. When it comes to dittos in this gen, the male pokemon you're breeding can pass down the ball too, but if you were breeding two of the same pokemon it will always take the female's pokeball. I hope I'm not wrong with that last part?

Hi hi! I can breed you a Hatenna with at least 4 perfect IVs and most likely hidden ability! I was able to catch a really good one in a raid :3 I'll let you know what comes out once I finish breeding! <3 I think it's really sweet of you to do this for your gf!!

I have two Hatennas both females and both level 1 newly hatched so it's EV isn't messed with.

One has 5 perfect IVs (31/31/31/31/31/X)

The other has 4 perfect IVs (31/31/X/X/31/31) but with Hidden Ability :3
