Letters to your neighbours

What sort of thing do you write to your neighbours?

Sometimes I write about something they've said, or what they're wearing, or even copy letters they've sent (ex. I read your letter over and over to make sure I didn't miss a thing) but am running out of ideas

Any ideas, of the genuine or dubious, and funny are welcome!

I'm so boring when it comes to letters to villagers. I usually include a gift and say 'I hope you like this shirt' or whatever.

It depends on the day and situation, really. I always send a letter to a new villager, welcoming them to the town. Sometimes I send responses to letters villagers sent to me. Sometimes I just write nonsense. Recently, I sent Beardo a letter that was entirely composed of the word "leave" repeated over and over since I was trying to get him to move out and into a different town of mine. Both to be creepy (it's a horror town) and just as an excuse to boost his happiness level (increasing his chance of leaving) and to relieve some stress over him refusing to ping to move while everyone else I actually wanted to keep in the town kept pinging instead. Oh, and on that note, I tend to send farewell letters when a villager leaves as well, though not always. Probably not sending Beardo one whenever he actually decides to go.

I mostly just write about how I feel towards them, what I like about them, and stuff that we've talked about in-game earlier. I also tend to send apology letter if I made a villager mad (hitting them with a net, pushing them around, etc.), or if I trapped them inside a bunch of holes, because i was doing the diving trick for pwp suggestions.

Welcome letters and farewell letters are great, but then all of my villagers show me the first letter they got from me, which is the standard 'welcome!' letter!

I mostly just write about how I feel towards them, what I like about them, and stuff that we've talked about in-game earlier. I also tend to send apology letter if I made a villager mad (hitting them with a net, pushing them around, etc.), or if I trapped them inside a bunch of holes, because i was doing the diving trick for pwp suggestions.

That's sweet though! I've resorted to quoting shows, like Grey's Anatomy or something, unless I'm replying to something they said that day, or in a letter.
