Letters to our villagers!

There was a time in Animal Crossing where I was looking for a Kiddie Stereo. I checked the shop everyday for months and I couldn?t find one. I sent a letter to my best friend, Bones, on the game. I told him about my struggles of looking for a Kiddie Stereo, and he writes me a letter back a few days later. Bones says he enjoys all of the letters I write him and that he attaches a present that he hopes I enjoy. It was a Kiddie Stereo.

This experience makes me think our villagers do understand us. Did anyone else experience something similar with writing letters to your fellow villagers?

That's amazing! I like to think they can understand a lot more than people think and they really bond with us. I have had similar experiences but never as awesome as that! Mine were mostly Hows your day or simple things that they seem to answer either by letter or the next time I see them like they are continuing a conversation we already started.

Nothing like that has ever happened to me, I mostly just send them letters with simple notes like "You're rad" and they never let me forget it, lmao

I never write.
It's annoying getting mail every day.
I wish it was optional.

i get really into letter writing. one time i made goldie upset because i talked to her while she was trying to catch a bug, and she started stomping around town. i wrote her a letter saying i’m sorry, and put sunflowers in there as a gift. she replied that the letter “made her feel better”. i really think the letter writing system is more complex than people let on. i love it!
