Letters from Mom

Honestly, I just think about my actual mom, and it doesn't make me feel anything because my mom isn't that type of person nor does she speak English very well.

I'm the exact opposite about the theories, they really never spook me since most of them are so predictable and not very plausible.

I am totally sure that your PC is dead. What am I supposed to think when my Mum sends me letters like these?

"To my sweet Lil, I remember your first winter as a toddler. You slipped on some ice and fell boom! You didn't cry, but I could tell you wanted to. Be careful out there!"
"In honour of your birthday, I've prepared a full-course meal. Yes, I know you're not actually here."
"Dear Sweet Lil, I was walking home tonight, and the cold wind was going straight through my coat. It must have been my imagination, but I thought I heard your voice. It spooked me a little - Mom."

She attached a tumbleweed to that last letter. I haven't received this one, but I've heard there is another letter in which she says her and your Dad got dressed and tried to go on a proper date but ended up spending the whole time talking about you.

I just think that they miss you, which is why they're always thinking about you. Then again, I don't care about theories very much so that's just the easiest explanation. I guess you can interpret them in any way that fits with your imagination.

they need to get more creative imo. purgatory was somewhat fresh at least!

I love getting letters from Mom and Dad in the game They make me feel so happy and nostalgic, reminding me of the letters I used to get back in Wild World :')

I always thought that the mom and dad died while you moved in and it's really Isabelle sending those letters to give hope that your mom and dad are always with you.

I love these theories! I wish they could have actual NPC's for our Moms and Dads but I feel like if the implemented that, they would feel stale and disconnected. The letters are much more personal in my opinion. They did a really good job on making it feel real.

Yeah!! Actual npcs would be strange. I also don't know how they'd do adult characters and maintain the AC style.

yeah, i'm not so big on dark theories. but to be fair, the ac series is practically creepy theory bait, with all the cryptic dialogue.

I love the letters! It's special since I never get letters in real life.

And getting them from loving parents I don't really know at all (HOW DID THEY GET MY ADDRESS WE ALL HAVE STALKER PARENTS HELPPPPP XD ) and super fuzzy cute animals is just super entertaining.

My favorites are always Dad's letters. I mean I rarely get them from him but.

Dad's letters are always fun! He's got a really different personality from Mom. It's weird how he seems so relaxed, even though I assume the reason he doesn't send many letters is because he works a lot.

I only played WW for a couple months, I don't remember much about the letters! Were the letters in WW cute? Or were a lot of them kinda odd? I've heard the letter from the other games get weirder the further back you go.
