Let's talk about The Gate...

I was thinking just now about how The Gate seems like some sort of friend code swapping orgy... Some innocent fellow wanders in just looking for a couple of other forum goers to swap friend codes with and *BAM* he's hit by a bunch of people with 20 posts who sound as if their life depended on accumulating as many codes as they can... The each post several times, sometimes several times in a row, and eventually end up ignoring the original poster and swapping friend code with each other... They seem so desperate, as if they found this forum on google just today and need to visit someone on wifi no matter what the cost...

It seems like a huge spamfest to me... all I see are threads that say "gates are open", and people say they'll go... I think that'd be more suited for a PM or something... or, everybody has one thread that they can bump up when they have their gates opened... we don't need a mass of threads for pointlessness.

I have also seen a lot of people bump up their posts in The Gate......CONSTANTLY!!!
