Rena felt sad, but suddenly she noticed something under the tree.

It was a large present, red with a gold bow, and had a tag on it that said "To Rena from Santa."

Rena started to slowly unwrap then

She saw a golden light shining through the package.

Rena stopped unsure what to do next

Finally, she gathered the courage to open it.

But before she could finish opening it the present burst open in a flash of light

She closed her eyes to stop the light from blinding her. When she opened them, she was with her parents.

Mom, Dad! You're home! Rena ran up to hug them wiping tears from her eyes

"Darling! Oh honey, we're so sorry we always leave you alone on Christmas! Here's your gift." Rena's Mother said, planting kiss on her forehead.
