Let's come clean here: How many of you have used a guide for this game?

DISCLAIMER: Some of you think I'm implying that guides are bad due to the names of the yes/no options. I've stated that the options sounded funnier in my head ^_^ I don't hate guides! ^_^

i only use guides when im desperate or i have no clue how to do something. i tend to use guides more for other video games though, for animal crossing all i really use is the hair/eye guides. and somethings house guides to estimate costs for finishing up renovations

Oh yeah loads. I always use guides for most games. I usually try to figure certain things out first, but some of the flower breeding is like, it would take me months to have figured out how to make blue roses if I really tried to. Patient as I might be, I'm not that patient.

Written by people who take 6 pages to say what could be summed up in one paragraph.

I confess. I used one to determine what art pieces were real in Redd's tent. Mostly because I was sick of buying fake ones lol. Also for the coffee orders because nobody has time to memorize that ****.

I can't say if I did when I first started, cause I don't remember any of when I started, but I have used it for redds pics, probably everything, but I have wrote the guide down in my own words to flick through instead of looking up the website with the guide on so it be easier.

Why is it considered dirty to use a guide? I found this forum researching stuff about acnl on the internet... And I joined it? Am I cheating by asking others for their advice? This game is so massive and there're so many tiny details that I never would have known about otherwise. And the app is an absolute lifesaver, especially when it comes to coffee preferences.

Haha, I’ve definitely used guides. It helps to know which insects and fish come out when and what time. They’re also super helpful for furniture customization. It still makes the game fun for me. :>

Oh yes! I love looking at tumblr posts where they show what can be customized and this is what it will look like, just makes me wanna refurbish them all!

I don't find this cheating though. As this is a very chill game and shouldn't be taken like you should figure it out ALL on your own, I was given tips from friends and such, and sure, in some ways you try and figure some stuff out but theres no point stressing out about something, thinking you can't look something up when you can.

Pretty sure I use a guide on deciding what to wear during Gracie's fashion check. I don't have the patience for trial and error since you never know when she's going to come back (I don't TT for that) and I wanted the Emporium unlocked as soon as possible. Also when customizing furniture, I want to see how it will look like first before deciding.

I use guides for nearly every game I play. I might have more fun if I didn't, who knows
