I see here names of quite a few villagers that I extremely dislike (I had them in my town and threw a party when they moved out )

I don't know that many villagers from lower tires to say which ones I like (I quite liked Pinky and Agnes, but they're not my dreamies), but on the other hand I really don't like at least half of tier 1 and 2 villagers

I actually tend to prefer lower-tier villagers, like Pierce, Cranston (I assume), Blaire, Peanut (both of which would likely be in my top 10 villagers) or Hazel. Even my favourite animal in the game, Kyle, is tier 3, last I checked, when many other wolves are tier 1 and 2.

I've also been appreciating Patty a lot lately, and I'm willing to guess she's tier 5.

My favorite villagers are all low tiers. Biskit is a low tier 4, Walker was just moved to 5, Bones has been a 5 for a while, Marcel is mostly in tier 5, and Benjamin is a tier 5.

Jeremiah's not super popular, but he's my favorite villager :3 Shari isn't that popular, either, but I think she's really cute.

Walker... one of my all time faves, can't believe he's tier 5.

Looking at the list, I'm surprised to see Bunnie and Papi so low (tier 4). I love Purrl and Gala, too, but I'm not surprised.

I can understand why most of the tier 5 villagers are where they are, but Gayle??? Excuse me, Gayle is an absolute treasure. I think Agnes and Bree are really cute, also, and not just because I have them. And Puddles! What the heck. Puddles is super cute! None of them are popular species in general though.

Hazel the uchi squirrel is extremely unpopular but I just LOVE her. She's so funny and seems to really care for you.

Poncho and Annalise. Can't understand why those 2 aren't more popular, especially Poncho. A cute blue bear cub....and he's a jock which is just hilarious given his size. Always talking about how tough he is

Out of 30 villagers among my three towns (Westerly, Granada, New York), 18 of them are Tier 5, including all but one of my Westerly residents (Flora being the only exception, ranking mid-Tier 3). I've only ever let go one villager in my nearly two years of playing. I love them all too much.

Cyrano - was one of my very first villagers. I like his color scheme and thick eyebrows. Also his catchphrase is "ah-CHOO", which is adorable.
Derwin - cute nerd duck.
Pierce - really pretty colors, I'm surprised he isn't popular.
Keaton - he's literally Franky from One Piece, and his colors are also nice.
Nibbles - I love her face and minty color.
Deli - a very cute monkey.

Pashmina the goat
Cube the penguin
Boomer the penguin
Bettina the mouse
Carmen the rabbit

I love Bangle, Boone and Bubbles...all fifth tier. But my absolutely favorite villager is Hippeux. He is my nextdoor neighbor and is generous and hilarious.

Tammi and Velma were two recent random move-ins to my town Hamilton. I'd never even heard of them before they moved in, but I love them both! I plan on keeping them permanently.

I like them both a lot too! <3

Carmen, Papi, Avery, Leonardo and Portia are dreamies of mine and I adore them !!
There are plenty other underrated villagers in my opinion like Celia, Cranston, Frobert, Drift, Henry, Merry, Purrl, Poncho, Flo, Ken, Pango, Soleil, Winnie... and I can go on...
