I just found the game at gamestop for $14. i've only played the demo and so far, it's really good. I like playing using the gameboy advance hookeup.

Was it before or after Wind Waker, cause the voices, sound fx, and certain visual effects are the same.

Four Swords for the GBA?
Or Four Swords Adventures for the Gamecube?
FS Came before Wind Waker
FSA Came after Wind Waker and is the sequal to FS.

Then there's a big difference. Change the title to "The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures". The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords is a completely different game.

And, yes, it was made after The Wind Waker. Four Swords, however, was released before The Wind Waker, but development on it started after The Wind Waker's.

What was the first four swords about? The precursor to Adventures?

In the beginning of Adventures, the story is this:
There was a wizard named Vaati, he was defeated and sealed by a mysterious hero (Minish Cap)
Many years later, he breaks free from the Four Sword he was sealed in, but gets sealed in the four sword again (Four Sword)
Once again, he breaks free again because of well... I'm not going to spoil it (Four Swords Adventures)
FSA is really good even though it's very linear, and some of the puzzles are really great.

Can you play The Four Swords on the GBA with only one player? I bought it for $14 at gamestop also but I can't get it to work, I've just been playing A Link To The Past which is on the same cartridge.

I'm not sure if each person has to have their own game or not... But I think so, since the GBA doesn't have Download Play. =p
