Hi Hi.
Now upon First glance you'll think 'another RANDOM thread'
well your sorta right.

NOW:
Links Awakening was my first LOZ game, i got it as a child with my Gameboy, All original, I got the game about a month after i got my Gameboy, and i got the Gameboy on release. though i was... 4 i think.
I Still love Links Awakening, mainly because as a kid i couldnt get past the 2nd Dungeon (damn Bat/Bunny/Skeleton puzzle did me in) and i lost the game at 7.
I played it again when i was 13 when i helped a kid randomly in the playground with it, He had the DX version. With that kid i had my first sleepover and we are now very good friends (his name is Jacob) and together we completed it!
I always loved the Graphics, Storyline and Music from it. Also the Rocs Feather.
And on the DX, the mouse with his pictures (LOVED the one of him accidently falling off the bridge, and the Shoplifting one). The Little things they put in.
I LOVED IT WITH CHAIN CHOMP! Didnt you?! The fact you could aimlessly wonder anywhere with him as your personal Body guard ahhhhh...
Now back to the game, Did anyone else cheat a little when they got chain chomp and do the Map skip cheat? (you basically held select as you crossed into a new section and you instantly crossed it, sometimes this lead you to the 2nd shield randomly).
Also the Name Easter Egg (now i'm not posting this because i want someone to post it up to show they know).
DISCUSSION TIME IS OPEN!

Yes, I believe you make Zelda your name and you get alternative music.

And I am on like, the 6th dungeon, I have both DX and the original, it is the best Handheld Zelda Game I have ever played.

i loved the item Yoshi Doll and the uncle looked like Mario

Link's Awakening DX was also my very first Zelda game too, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I can't think of one flaw with it. :D
You know, I think it is my first Zelda too, either that or Ocarina, perhaps that could be a reason I like it a lot.

If i am not Mistaken DX also Featured the Red and Blue Robes. Each gained in a way idk since i couldnt be asked to play DX, Since i didnt have it.
I have DX on VBA...But its not the same...
I miss playing This on my SNES.
I used to have a SNES and the thing where you could put the game in, I used to mess with the colours then play (the original not DX). Its funny playing in Rainbow colours xD
