Played through it a couple times, got a few of the new achievements and one or two of the old ones. To be honest, I hoped it was longer and that there was a better ending.

the dialogue was horribly awkward at parts, sounded like they recorded each character's lines individually

I found _____'s corpse =( It was a little sad, they really just have them propped up against a generator, dead. But you can take their gun!

By the way, one of the achievements states something about a "fallen survivor" what does that mean? Anyone care to explain, it's a new "un-common, common infected"

There is a new uncommon infected that carries supplies (Pills, Medkits, Adrenaline, etc.) And they're uncommon and when you shoot them they try to run away.

The new infected has some equipment that a regular survivor would have on them such as mollys, pills, and medkits. For the achievement, kill it and when they're dead, grab their stuff. Get 10 "fallen survivor" items and you get the achievment.
