Leaving wifi on in sleep mode

Is it possible to have wifi on when you have your New 3DS in sleep mode? cause I want to leave my town open all day but have it in sleep mode

Yes. Your town gates will stay open if you close the lid on your DS. Be careful doing this though, make sure you trust everyone on your friends list.

Yes you can. Like what @Pandacub just said be careful because people can come into your town, even in sleep mode, and steal your things.

I never allow anyone to come in unless I'm there watching them. You could end up with stolen flowers and fruit, stolen items that were buried or on the ground, trees chopped down... Just be careful!
