Least favourite Anime?

I guess I've a very specific taste which causes me to dislike a lot of the anime I watch even after I selected them based on my general taste beforehand. Too unrealistic individuals and actions, a good 3/4 of all anime I would say. Too sexualized, sorry but I don't get turned on by cartoons, a good 1/8 of all anime I would say. Way too annoying voices or a very weird animation style by my taste, a good 1/4 of all anime.

Shows like Mayoi Neko Overrun, Date A Live, Nyan Koi. They are just not my thing. I'm sure they will entertain other people so I'm not too bothered by the fact that I don't like them. I usually know if I'll watch all of a series or drop it immediately after the first episode anyway. I should note though that I don't really watch a lot of anime, about 100 hours in 1.5 years.

Anime are mass produced, made to please to a large audience (of kids mainly) so of course most of them are cliches and not gems. The more I watch, the more I have the impression to watch the same thing again and again, but I don't care that much because it's something I watch before going to bed to relax and put my brain at off. Cliches amuse me to some extend, just like b-movies, unrealistic individuals and actions don't bug me as long as they follow their own logic, I might say, and sex and fan service all over the place...well I remind myself they did it to please their target, even if I think it's way too much when it's not part of the story, can a girl can pass the vacuum cleaner without having big close-up of her butt? I wonder...

Any anime which is nothing but loli bait. ESPECIALLY that gross one about the girl blackmailing her teacher or something

Saw the synopsis in a youtube video and immediately topped my "worst anime" list.

Attack on Titan.

A really great human story, that I thought had enough balls to kill it's own character, making nobody safe, doesn't waste anytime at all not only reviving said character, but also giving everybody else superpowers.

It's why I dislike a lot of anime, and the ones that I do like are pretty special to me.

Ehhh, I really didn't like Shinsekai Yori. It was just... really weird to me. And by ep. 5, I was pretty much done.

Free!, Date A Live, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Diabolik Lovers, SAO (half way in), Angel Beats, Pupa

School days takes the cake for me
but SAO was pretty disappointing - it was fine when it was weekly, but if you binge it, it's not as good
(I found that it was mostly fanservice and girls falling for Kirito... I wanted to watch more battles and/or attempts to leave the virtual world)

.

mayouu was sooooooo bad. i saw it in an anime magazine that i own and decided to watch it. the first episode was just dumb and they all didnt even have names they were all called like hero or demonlord etc. the art style was obnoxious to me and i dont know why i continued it. i guess i just kinda slept half through the rest of the 11 or 12 episodes cuz back then i hated leaving an anime that i started to watch unfinished. i gues big mistake. then there was also asa made jugyou chu or something. some hentai anime and i dont know what the f was wrong with me to watch that ova. school days was also pretty damn terrible. the suzumiya haruhi gave me terrible headaches. mayou still was the worst ones but the other ones but damn they all suck.

School Days and High School of the Dead are both absolutely dreadful. Gintama is almost a complete bore, not the worst thing ever, but gets a mention because it's so loved for reasons I do not understand. Space Dandy is dumb, and a disappointment coming from its studio. Fairy Tail also gets a special mention. I actually kind of liked it in the beginning, but the parts covered in the 2014 anime left me very disappointed and left me wondering why I ever enjoyed the series to begin with.

I'm stretching it to mention some of those, I know.

I haven't ever really checked it out (bc it's so freaking goddamn long) but I have to admit there are some funny scenes I've seen around (in my opinion anway)

Makura no Danshi
10/10 never watch again

When I first heard of it it seemed cute but it turned out to be a boring use of the same joke over and over again. I also wanted to like Sakura Trick but the characters were just too uninteresting.

Eh. It had a funny moment every once and a while, but it didn't justify watching the rest of it, which was a total drag. I managed to get 55 whole episodes in. I tried to see what the hype was about, I really did. I even watched one of the 'serious' arcs, it just really didn't wow me. There just isn't much there.

I think it was Highschool of the Dead or something?

They seemed way too chill with the fact there were zombies and people were being like eaten alive lmao
There was way too much fanservice too

watamote is some ****, dunno why people were obsessed with it for so long.
free was pretty bad too, never finished.
