I speak Danish and English. My dads whole family is from Denmark, and I was born there so it's considered my first language. My mom is from the US and I moved here with her when I was like 2 or 3, so I learned English too. I took Latin and French in Highschool... But I'm definitely not fluent! XD

I speak English (obviously lol) and Portuguese. Learning Spanish at school, which is very similar to Portuguese.

Swedish, English.. some German I would say, I'm better at reading/understanding it though than speaking.

I'd love to learn proper Japanese some day though, it's a beautiful language. As for tips.. learn stroke orders and pronunciation of the vowels.

I have two books on Hiragana and Katakana that I bought a year ago but I haven't really had time or bothered. I think I may try it again this year and then later on get to Kanji. I'm in no rush anyhow so we'll see how it goes.

I speak English and know a little bit of French because we were taught it from grades 4-9 (and 10-12 if you wanted too) in school since I live in Canada. I should have continued taking French in high school but I dropped it because of lack of interest. Now, since it's been around 3 years since I've studied French, I've forgotten a lot. I know how to say basic sentences ad phrases but my accent is really bad. xD

I know some Japanese basic phrases as well but only spoken. I can't read or write.

Vietnamese is my primary language..but it turns out I speak English a lot more fluently than Vietnamese. I wanted to learn Japanese starting in high school, but my family forced me into Spanish instead considering they thought it'd be easier for me. Haha..languages aren't easy to learn if you have no passion towards it at all, because for my second language course, I remember nothing from what I've been trying to learn since I started. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the language..I just find Japanese more appealing. I'm still doing studies for Spanish though :/ but since I couldn't take actual classes for Japanese, I'm trying to self study the language. I could really use some assistance though haha, but I'm not doing that bad in my opinion. I'm using my anime addiction as an advantage by watching subs. Watching subbed anime doesn't help that much..heck, it doesn't help at all if you're trying to learn full sentences, but I can easily pick up some of the basic words (gomen, kawaii desu, senpai, sensei, kokoro, ohayou, etc..) and the subtitles help out with spelling as well. I do plan on taking japanese classes over the summer though.

I learned Japanese for 7 years, I can still speak some but if you don't use it you lose it. I can still read/write it, although Kanji is a bit iffy.

Being canadian, we were forced to learn french from grades 4-8 but i have lost all of it lol! I had lived in a puerto rico for a while, learning a bit of spanish but i have always been fascinated but japanese so for the past few years have i been (trying) to learn as much as i can

I speak English as a native language, then Spanish & German in high school & college but very rarely use German now, still speak Spanish from time to time. For traveling in Europe, I learned some Portuguese, Italian & Croatian, and I study those over again each time depending on where to travel again. Learning languages is fun for me but I don't get to use them often enough to be good at them.

i tried learning turkish and polish couple years ago.. was too ambitious and gave up lmao.
i am taking monolingual spanish in hs tho but only because i need to take three years of it to graduate as distinguished
and im still trying to learn japanese. i pick it up every now and then but i havent made that much progress.

I'm learning German at school, but I find that really boring, as the teacher is terrible... I'm attempting to teach myself Japanese, which a lot more fun than german XD

right now, im in the process of learning visayan, which is one of the many dialects of the filipino language. aah and i'm pretty good in spanish, tagalog, portugese, japanese and english (obviously) lmao

I took French for 4 years in high school and even back then I didn't think I was very good at it. One of these days I want to learn Spanish, I sort of regret taking French instead in high school. At least the teacher was a pretty cool lady.

i'm (slacking off while) learning french mostly, but i do know like 2 and a half words in spanish.
i haven't practiced either in like a month smh
