Same. My smurf is lvl 11. I made it to help out my friends who were brand new so they wouldn't be matched with 30's. Though, once matchmaking recognized 3 of us as smurfs, we started getting paired up against smurfs.

That's the worst. I made a smurf so I didn't have to play with try hard anymore haha and to also help out my boyfriend who isn't very good

Mmr is still going to match you with people your level regardless though. Of course, mmr breaks and matches me up against plats, yay! I should mention I am unranked...and my skill level is low silver hurr.

Lately it has only been matching me up with silvers and bronzes, though, so thank goodness. Usually crush them, but once there's a gold 2 or higher...hhhhhhh

I don't think it matters, as long as I get the referral. And I have until the end of the month, so it's no biggee.
