Lazy villager recommendations...

Long story short, I started a new town a few days ago and started collecting my villagers I wanted so I could plot reset houses before landscaping. For this town I was going for a foresty overgrown themed town, so I chose Erik because I thought he would fit nicely. After a few resets and no sight of Erik's plot I decided that he was just going to spawn tomorrow and that I'd try then. But no, me being the dunce I am I forgot to cover the area I use to plant my characters house down when I'm plot resetting(the strip of land on the top of your town by the waterfall. Erik ended up moving in that spot, right where I plan on putting my campsite.

So now I'm kinda stuck on who I should replace Erik with. I would like to see what you guys think would go good with my theme/lazy villagers you recommend in general! I would prefer villagers that aren't crazily colored or have too wild of a design, and I would prefer no cat recommendations, my first town is all cats and I have two in this one, so trust me I have enough lol!

I have Nate as a permanent villager in my town. Other than his eyebrows, he doesn't have very crazy colors. Alfonso also a really good villager, as long as you like alligators.

Beau would be a natural replacement for Erik and I second the recommendation for Nate.Pudge is one of those under the radar villagers you don't see in many towns but he's also a good one.There's also Filbert who is the only lazy squirrel in the game but he's blue and his house has a sci-fi theme.Anchovy is a naturally colored lazy bird and Claude is the same in rabbit form.There's also Ozzie the koala if your forest is a bit on the exotic side.

In addition to the other suggestions, I also like Cole (rabbit) and Deli (monkey) for a forest town.

Pudge, Biskit, Benjamin, Chester, Cranston, drake. They all have really nice house exteriors that would go well in a forest town. I have pudge in my town and he’s so precious, so my vote would go to him!!

I vote for Jeremiah. He's tiny and cute and I love him. If his color is too crazy for you, go with Bones.

My personal recommendation is Zucker. I have him in my town and he's a pleasure to be around. However, I'd also recommend Drake, as he's a realistically colored duck that is pretty close to Erik with a cabin-themed interior and all.
