Late villager?

I never had a villager be 'late' before.... so this is a first for me. Has anyone else had a villager that was 'late' visiting your house?

Maybe it was because I had a visitor earlier in the day. I had a trade set up, and Katt asked to come over. I set the time for 30 minutes after the trade, but she forgot...

If you open your gates on a day when you have an appointment with a villager, they will say they have to cancel if you talk to them.
