Hey team. So, while I'm out here in Orlando studying animation like crazy, I've been playing Windwaker HD on the WiiU whenever I get a free minute.

Windwaker was really the only Zelda game I've ever played thoroughly. Loved it as a kid, and I love it now even more.

I picked up Ocarina of Time 3D and Link Between Worlds for the 3DS when they came out, but for some reason I never had the attention span for them. I always found myself playing Pokemon or Mario or Phoenix Wright instead. I don't doubt that both of those games are great, for some reason though I just never stuck with them.

That being said, I'm enjoying Windwaker so much that I've been looking at what to play next in the series. Also, I missed out on a lot of Wii games since mine broke early on and I never really got another. Now that I've got this WiiU though, I was thinking of getting Skyward Sword next.

I've read sooo many mixed reviews on Skyward Sword. Can anybody tell me what they thought of it, and kinda' help me out with this decision?

it was different i guess.
i enjoyed TP a lot more, but SS was still very enjoyable to me.

I dont really remember a lot of it but I know I enjoyed it and i liked the new areas

Skyward Sword is my second-fave Zelda game behind Wind Waker. They're pretty different from each other, but they're both great. Motion controls are amazing when you get used to them. Until then... good luck.
 
Agree with Puffle.Wind Waker was the best,and SS is a close second for me.I think it had a beautiful storyline,there were some funny moments,barely though,there were some sad moments,and there were some thrilling moments.It also had some pretty nice gameplay!^_^

There's also cleaning! So much fun!
 
It was a pretty good game really, I enjoyed playing through it but I don't know if I do it a second time. My main complaints about it was with the playing of the token instrument, motion controls are wonky, and the stamina system. Otherwise is was a generally solid and easy Zelda game.
 
There isn't really a Zelda game not worth buying. The only ones who have poopoo'd it are those who discounted it right away after that weird E3 thing, or discount it because "Twilight Princess/Ocarina of Time/Link to the Past was better" or some other dumb thing that really shouldn't discount an entire game of this magnitude.
