Last villager not pinging?

Is it true that the newest villager in your town won't ping to move out?

Nope. Flurry pinged right after she moved in.

I think another villager needs to ping first (whether you tell them to stay or go), and then that villager that has just moved in has a chance of pinging you to move.

So should ping just like a villager that's been in town for a while?

Yes, pretty much. But it could be as fast as Mary said, just in and out; it just never occurred to me.

It can happen but it seems kinda rare to me, as it's only happened once in my cycling town.
