Landscaping

Hey all! I'm looking for some landscaping inspiration. I'd love to add some bushes to my town but can never figure out where I want them. What do you do with bushes? If you can, screen shot a pic

i use them as ''borders'' for my paths

I also incorporate mine into path borders and use them in front of houses and other buildings. I try to use the same type of bushes in the same area so there's some continuity instead of random ones flowering in different colors, and if possible have the flowers match the building (pink azeleas with Retail for example). I like to use the holly shrubs along with the cedar trees. In one town I have perfect pears which are golden color and I planted yellow hibiscus to have a yellow/gold color scheme. In another town I'd had perfect oranges and sweet olive bushes since those flowers are orange colored. Other times it's nice to have contrasting colors like blue hydrangea with a pink building. So that's how I go about planning things in my towns. Sorry I don't have pictures.

in mistvale, they line some of the paths and i made a nice hedged-in fountain area with them. in mitaka, landscaping is a lot more natural looking, with scattered cedars, etc., so my bushes are kind of scattered all over too

tbh, just experiment a bit with them until you find something you really like we're lucky we have this forum and an easy-to-earn currency system so we can have a lot of trial and error w/ our resources

I line paths with them, like 5cm/s said. They're very useful when it comes to making neat dividing lines between paths, giving your town a bit of a specific flow-- so that it's not just a mess of different directions you can shortcut through, haha. It's also useful for marking off little display areas, or surrounding public works you really love.
