I prefer landscaping but don't necessarily mind interior design.
I just wish we could have the controls for placing items in houses like in Happy Home Designer.
Also being able to design the interior for your villagers.
But that's not a thing in New Leaf unfortunately.
But I prefer landscaping.
I'm still working on my town to get it somewhat decent enough to finally make the Dream Address for it.
The area around my town plaza is coming along nicely but I still need more saplings.
MORE SAPLINGS. I NEED THEM.
I'M SO BAD AT LANDSCAPING OMG. It's really hard because you can't see everything at once, which makes it much harder to plan. Interior designing is so much easier and enjoyable!
I try to landscape than interior designing. I guess I focus on landscaping more because that's the first thing you see when you enter someone's town. And I personally rarely go to people's houses so I don't bother to spend a lot of time with decorating my house. Maybe I will after I finish my town.
I chose both, but now that I think about, interior designing is much more better than landscaping. I think that landscaping takes up to much time and money, and even eventually begins to feel like a chore than something fun. Therefore, I chose interior designing because It's much more fun to customize a room to my liking.
i'm horrible at landscaping my town, i just don't have the patience to do it. i'd love to have a town with clover paths and shrubs and cedar trees everywhere all nicely place but ugghhh so much work.
I wouldn't say I'm bad at landscaping but it's more effort and can get very boring. I prefer decorating the interior.
It's more fun and I'm good at it. Besides it's a really nice way to show others your creativity!
I think, that I like landscaping a little more, it's just fun to design everything.
When I'm trying to do interior design I'm looking on Tumblr for ideas and I want every time to change it out..
I like both, but I'm more of an interior designer than a landscaper currently. This is partly due to my foolish decision to aim for dream villagers at the start instead of getting the best looking town layout possible, which I did because I didn't want to waste time and TBT unnecessarily. They're not altogether horrible looking towns and I am able to do things with them, but some options are just limited.
That said, I did get an extra copy of New Leaf a few months back so that I could have the last few dream villagers that I couldn't fit in the other towns due to themes or other preferences. I haven't started this one yet because I still need to think of a name for the town and its mayor, but I intend to go for a better layout this time and worry less about the starting villagers. I hope to make this town look great and finally lay down paths, so I might get more into landscaping.
I both but more landscaping because I love to create gardens with different stuff
I have a rainbow in main town zebilage and heart garden in lovely town
Hmm I do love designing my houses but I definitely prefer landscaping. There's a certain satisfaction that comes with watching your trees & bushes grow as your town develops. I also love the challenge of getting villagers to ping for public work projects although they can be annoying if got no pings at all after doing the diving method a million times. Designing in NL is tedious imo, especially with the pushing and pulling and not to mention limited furniture/actions compared to HHD.
I love both, but I prefer landscaping. Watching your town bloom from something generic to something beautiful is really satisfying, even if it takes a while.
I prefer landscaping over interior. Mainly because I think AC has a bit more focus on the environment and your town over house design, but also because I tend to like my landscaping results over the interior design stuff I do.
