landscaping or interior designing?

i absolutely love landscaping my town, planting bushes and arranging flowers and paths etc
but when it comes to interior design i'm clueless! it takes me so long to design a room, and i never really like them in the end

which do you guys prefer?

I like landsaping the best although I sort of like interior designing but I spend most of my time playing outside so I landscape more

Oh my god, I can't for the life of me, do landscaping. I'm definitely more into interior designing, so much, that before, I didn't think getting HHD was worth it but after getting back into ACNL I remembered just how much I love interior design so I'm really thinking I might buy it.

I think what scares me off when it comes to landscaping is that it's much more permanent than interior design. I mean, not PERMANENT-PERMANENT but it definitely requires more commitment to the style you're going for and I'm really bad at that. Every time I get an idea of where things should go and here to put PWPs and trees and stuff, I rethink it so much that I ultimately end up not doing it.. because I think like... "what if it turns out looking bad and I waste my stuff and my time?" or "what if I change my mind half-way through" or even: "what if I mess up plot resetting and someones move in on top of it and it's someone I actually want so I'll end up wanting to re-do it based around that house?" (that one's a stretch, I know)

I've looked up tons of tips for getting a better idea of how you want to landscape your town (including getting all or most of your dreamies beforehand) but I still get discouraged when it comes to actually laying it all down. And now I got a ton of bushes and saplings and bushes hoarded because I'm too scared to plant them LOL

But, I'm sure that once I do start working on it, I'll get a feel for it in no time. But still GENERAL ANXIETY.

I'm not so good at landscaping or interior design, but when it comes down to landscaping i'm slowly getting better at it. I'm trying to make my town less organized as it seems a little too organised for a supposedly forest/colour themed town. I'm slowly getting there but I think my town will look okay when it's finished. I really do enjoy landscaping though, something about it is really peaceful to me and I enjoy doing it. I love to see how my town turns out whenever I begin landscaping and it's just exciting to see your town slowly build up from nothing to something beautiful. It also helps me with path placement and PWP placement because I think of where to put certain pwps as I go along and it's so much better then just putting PWPS wherever I think they might look good, I feel like my town is much more planned out and I have a vision in mind.

I love both! I'm not the best at landscaping, but it's fun seeing what works and what doesn't. I'm not the best at interior design either, but I love putting a room together. The only room I've truly 'designed' myself is my main room, and partially my study. But both are really fun!

I love interior designing, I have no clue what to do with my nature. Paths & PWPs no problem, but anything green? No idea.

Interior design. I'm never satisfied with my landscaping ugh. It requires so much commitment to the concept that I end up changing my mind half-way which requires me to re-plant bushes/trees and re-do paths.

I'm definitely better at interior design than I am at landscaping. But I'm working quite a bit on my landscaping now, and I don't think it's turning out all too badly.

I hate landscaping, which is why all of my towns have always just had flowers on the ground. No paths, no bushes... And trees just scattered around. Arranging furniture is so much fun, though.

I like interior designing much better not only because it's easier, but because I can actually see the whole thing at once. With landscaping paths take a really long time to put down and you can't see what things look like all at once. I also hate it because somtimes you think you found the perfect place for something like a public work project then it turns out theres not enough space after all. I just find interior designing better since I can see how things look right away and put things more precisely where I want them.

I'm really, really bad (in my opinion) at interior design. I just can't make those 'wow' rooms. Now, landscaping on the other hand... I'd say I'm pretty good at it.

I love landscaping! I put so much effort in every town I have (actually three) with paths, nice placed PWPs, bushes and so on. The last step are always the houses - but I'm not really good at decorating them ^^'''

I like both because I love to decorate interiors with actual furniture and remodel/refabric items to make them more unique but on the other hand landscaping plays a big role in my town because its such a big canvas to work with. You have so many options with patterns and PWP areas so I really like to play around with that as well!

I love both! I know what you mean about interior design tho, its taken me about a month to actually get my bedroom and kitchen to how i like it. Landscaping - I hate my map, but I've worked too hard on getting my dreamies in order to reset. Plus I have too much stuff lol But I like making it look pretty. You wouldnt catch me doing this much work on my town in WW or CF lol.

I really dislike landscaping. It's so much work and when I'm finished with something I never like it. Everything I do looks horrible and then I see these beautiful towns on the internet and I start disliking my own town and it makes me want to, idk, hire someone to help me with landscaping! I'd pay so many bells if someone could make my town look nice!

Interior designing on the other hand is my favourite thing about Animal Crossing. In New Leaf especially! I love customizing furniture, and the new sets that have been added. I love planning rooms and then in the end looking at the end result and feeling so proud. The streetpass feature is awesome too, I love seeing other people's rooms as well! ^^

I like to plant little patterns of flowers outside of my villagers houses, but after that, I sorta run out of ideas and just plant random flowers, I like interior designing a bit more.

I love both. I'm not very good at either of them, though. For me, landscaping is a bit easier, even though it's really time consuming. I love planning out my town and watching as it progresses. I also love experimenting with different paths and different seasons. I may not be the best landscaper, but oh well. Interior decorating is harder for me. I have a general idea of what I want my rooms to look like, but when I actually lay down furniture and carpets it just doesn't look the same in my head. I still enjoy decorating the inside of my house, though!
