I'm doing some landscaping in town, but I'm having some trouble with narrow spaces between ponds and buildings determining what to do. It's so barren, so I need to to something with it. Here's what I have to work with.

Any advice on what to do here? Post pics if you want!

flowers would probably be the easiest solution

just choose a type/color pattern you enjoy and go

Maybe you could put a small PWP there, like a bench or a lamp-post or something?

pic 2 if it'd fit I almost think maybe something like the picnic area would look nice

For spaces like these I usually go for small PWPs (such as clock, bench, lamp-post, etc.) and then fill up the rest of the space with flowers (especially in areas where PWPs, trees and bamboos cannot be planted in).

Thanks guys! I already have a picnic area to the north near my windmill, so I'm not sure I'll go for that. Flowers seem good, but I'm also leaning towards something creative with trees since my town is based on a forest.

I would strategically place trees so that they don't "block" the view of the pond too much, like not having it be especially dense in front of the pond. You could also plant some bushes and flowers. I have a similar pond by Re-Tail (I think many do actually) and I chose to surround it with pink, blue, and purple flowers to sort of match the Re-Tail building :)

Trees would be the best option. Using 2 PWP slots here isn't the best idea, unless you know you can fit it into the overall layout.

Just a few ideas. Take it with a grain of salt. You can toss it over your shoulder if you'd like. :P

I think this would look nice. Red = PWP, yellow = bushes and trees, black = flowers, white = path.

In the top photo, you could possibly put a water well, water pump, or an arc in the red area circled in the first pic. In the second pic, I think the best pwp for near the pond would be a bench or a sign post. There's definitely enough space for this place to look nice, but it's really up to you. If you have a big town lay out you may want to save your PWP's for elsewhere.
