Lack of tables?

I’ve been buying and crafting all these cute little objects, but the game seems to have an obscene lack of tables for me. They’re almost never in the shop and I only have three table recipes that are all 2x2 (stone, wood block, tea).

In my kitchen, nearly everything is on the floor because I have no options for 2x1 tables or counters.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Agreed. Lack of tables has been really hurting my design ideas for my house. There's so many things to put ON tables, but no tables to put said things on.

GAH yeah, I have all of 2 tables in my house that weren't craftables, and both I got via trading on the forums.

I'm wondering if there really are less tables or if there's just so many random knick knack items to display it feels like it. In any case the ratio's off.

I have 1 outdoor table, 1 wooden end-table and 5 cardboard boxes. I don't even have any good table DIYs (I don't like 2x2 tables, too big for my taste).

I have all these kitchen stuff but nothing to place it on. Everything's on the floor.

I think the biggest issue is that there isn't a lack of tables, just that there's so many smaller items. Makes the tables a bit more rare to come across.

Huh. I got the wooden table (2x1) recipe within two or three days of starting. I forget how, but I assumed that it was pretty much automatic or in the advanced or wildest dreams diy group.

As to other tables, I've been getting lucky in that regard, I guess. I recently got an executive desk I think (it's a large oak desk, with a 2x1 footprint)

Yep, it's a bug problem, not only the lack of tables, but the lack of furniture of different types as well. Why wall-mounted shelves aren't a thing?

Also, one thing that bugs me is the fact that you can't put an item in the middle of 4 slot table if said table is located outside of your house. If you're inside your house you can do this by using the decoration mode and rearrange items more freely, but it doesn't work outside, so outdoor furniture can't be properly decorated.

I've put a stone table outside and wanted to put a boardgame in the middle of the table, but I can't.

I believe there really is a huge lack of tables/dressers. I think majority of the tables are DIY (Ironwood, wooden, stone, mush, frozen, log, iron, flower, fruit, etc). And DIY recipes are hard to come by.

In the previous games, majority of the tables/dressers were from the 45+ furniture sets. But these sets are absent which really affects the wide selection. What do we have in comparison: antique, cute, rattan and imperial?

Decorating my rooms have been super hard because Ive been waiting for tables to show up but they just... never show up. Especially the DIY ones which are not easy to find in general. Now I'm wishing the store had at least one rotating DIY recipe for sale

There really is. I’m still waiting for the wooden lowtable DIY which I am still trying to find. I’ve seen everyone else have it but idk where tho...

Tables and chairs, I'm finding both frustratingly hard to come by. I'm still using cardboard boxes as tables as well as an ugly plastic table I found and a couple of wooden and ironwood tables I can craft. It's infuriating!

I own one sofa and it's bright red which doesn't go with anything in my house - and it isn't customisable! What's the point? Why can I choose what pattern to put on a TV tray but not the colour of the one, simple sofa I own

Sea basses are worthless to some but not to me! You can put fish tanks down and use them as temporary (or permanent) tables.

I have gotten recipes for the wooden mini table, log dining table, wooden block table, natural garden table, stone table, iron worktable, ironwood dresser; unfortunately don't have extras of the recipes but I'd be happy to make any of those if anyone needs/wants! Just PM me I really like how the iron worktable and ironwood dresser looks!

I was fortunate enough to get a number of tables and desks early on, so my kitchen looks OK. Mostly I got a ton of ugly outdoor tables, but I did get a console table and a lecture-hall desk that work well as counters.

My problem is I can't find a single bed other than the basic one! My bedroom looks so cheap... They really need to make the basics easier to find/buy, and stop giving out so many repeat items. I've found 6 outdoor tables, innumerable outdoor benches in a bunch of colors, and four espresso machines... Not to mention all the brine shrimp aquariums!

And not one single solitary bed. Honestly, there must be hundreds of items in the game. How do I keep getting repeats of the same four things almost every day?

I also wish they'd make it much less likely to get repeat DIY recipes. It makes it so hard to collect the recipes you actually want/need! I have so many recipes I want, but out of the 3-4 recipes I usually get per day, all but one are usually repeats.
