Lack of design slots?

I'm sure there are other threads like this, but is anyone else hoping they add more slots for custom designs? I'm getting really anxious about decorating my island because I feel like I can't really design to it's full potential. Personally, I enjoy adding small details so it's stressful to know that I'm extremely limited in terms of patters. I'm using up a lot of slots for a road, so I basically have about 10 or so slots for everything else. I hope among other issues, this one doesn't get overlooked.

I don't use a lot, so it's not a huge deal to me...but, I do generally agree that there could be more.

Same! I want to have cute stalls and signs, and have doormats for each of my villagers-- and not to mention the stuff you can put on the beaches! There's so much potential and so little room to do it

I know!! I was just going through some custom designs and looking for chalk and sand drawings (plus i wanted to see if i could find pixels of bob and audie to put on their doorsteps LOL)
I also love changing my face paint a lot, but ;;; i dont have enough space for them lol

Back in MY DAY I hand to make various characters just to house my designs cuz we hardly had any slots now we have two separate ones for clothing and paths

I didn't use any design slots in new leaf, but now paths and customization are so much easier that i've quickly used up all of them. i don't see why they can't at least double the slots we have access to?

It is a good amount of slots until you want to work on something big, but not everyone does that. I don't think the switch has limitations for that kind of thing, so it's a little strange.

I had a hard time in acnl because I made so many designs and kept running out of space for designs. I hope they will increase the cap in the future because im also running out of designs in acnh.

its not even the just slots vs nl, the customization is so much more in depth! its so hard not to use them all up ;-;

oh absolutely! it would free up space if we could rotate custom tiles, too. could we do that in new leaf? i feel like that's something we could do, but brain memory is constantly wrong, sooooo
