I have a question i adopted filbert the squirel and he didnt move in ive skipped at least 4 days and i only had 8 people when i adopted him
I had this issue with Julian, you want to follow these directions carefully:
If it's past 5:58 AM in your town right now, forward the next day. Set your clock to 5:58 AM or 5:55 AM, whatever makes you less nervous as long as it's before 6. All you need to do once the clock is set on the DS, is to load up ACNL as your mayor character. Then save and quit immediately!
Wait until its 6:00 AM exactly or a few minutes after on your DS clock, and create a new character. Go through the train scene with Rover, you don't have to be serious about the character creation as you can delete him/her later. Walk around town after you get off Porter's train as your new character, don't talk to Isabelle yet and you should find a plot for Filbert somewhere in your town. You can save your game as the new character if you like where their plot is. If you don't, you can keep plot resetting if you wish, which is basically don't save your new character, just hit the Home button on your DS and go through the Rover scene again. But if their plot shows up and you like where they are, save the game as that new character. You can delete your new character afterward. If the plot doesn't show, you may have done this method incorrectly.
