KK on a monday and other NPCs?

So I'm guessing he's here today because of the events over the weekend, how does this work with other NPCs? Is it still possible to get say Flick at the same time since it's not the weekend, or maybe Celeste in the evening? Or does seeing him mean no-one else will be here for sure?

yep, he's here today due to the bug off and the fireworks. I don't believe it's possible to get any visitors such as Flick, same as a normal Saturday, but I believe there's still a chance of seeing Celeste/Wisp?

Celeste and wisp won't ever show up when KK is there. Apparently KK rules over all and I hate it.

My villagers are super not into having KK, he's playing to nobody all day haha. I really wish his visits not on Saturday wouldn't interrupt the regular schedule of visitors who don't use the plaza. There's no reason Flick, Gulliver, CJ, Redd couldn't be elsewhere on the island while he's there!

I've always thought this was funny. I imagine Gulliver washes up on the beach, but because Labelle or someone is in the plaza he feels rude for stealing the spotlight and rolls back into the ocean to try again tomorrow.

I've never understood why they didn't just program the game so we can still see NPCs that don't require the plaza. Gulliver/arr, Saharah, CJ, Flick, and Redd don't need the plaza. I don't see why they can't show up the same day as KK.

Especially with how bad Redd's spawn rate is.

Not from the information I've found. I certainly don't get him every two weeks either in either of my towns.

You are guaranteed to have Saharah, Kicks, and Leif once per week on a random day. Gulliver, Labelle, CJ, and Flick then have the chance to randomly spawn on the other two days in any given week but are not guaranteed. You're supposedly given a higher chance if the NPC didn't visit the week before. However, I've definitely gone 3 weeks without having Redd on my island because I just spent a several days due that issue TTing to find him to finally get art.

I think it just feels worse because he might turn up with all fakes or the only real one might be one you already have.

Then kicks rocks up with the same damn bags that you didn't want to buy from him the first dozen times he tried to sell them to you!

Spawn rate is definitely worse than prior games. There's several articles on the different algorithm and many nintendo player tickets about being 3+ weeks with no spawn from him (both players that haven't TT'd whatsoever and players whom tried to TT to find him as well).

Strange. I was pretty sure this was already changed since the Gullivarr update. I always see Redd once every 2 weeks now! I get a visitor every single day on weekdays and every single NPC has shown up. Maybe you haven't noticed? Or it's a bug maybe..

Over three weeks to finally see him spawn. two more weeks nothing...finally timetraveled and it took over 3 weeks again since the last for time he showed. I just grinded out getting all the art from him by TTing forward a day and back to reset his art once I finally got his spawn.

Those are older articles. The NPC spawn rate was changed in a recent update (I think the 1st July one) so that Leif and Kicks are no longer guaranteed visits. Redd now should show up every 2/3 weeks.

This isn’t quite accurate anymore either. All nine visiting NPCs appear once within every new ten day period. One will appear twice in the ten day period. If you TT, you can impact your scheduled spawn because it can reset.
