Is there any Kingdom Hearts game you hate? I hate Recoded worst game ever..... waste of money I still have it somewhere..
Anyway comment any Kingdom Heart game you hate
like, I've only played 1 and 2, but every time I look back on them I'll be like "wow, remember [insert level here]? that sucked, I hated that" ... and yet I still played the games through to the end. part of me wants to work on playing all the other installments in the series but I'm afraid the story gets all convoluted and stupid over the course of each additional game, because from "outside" the fandom it just looks like KH is being milked for its success and I'm really skeptical that they can keep an engaging story that still makes sense through that many individual games.
I liked 2 best for the Organization though (and Riku. big soft spot for Riku) so basically everything that isn't 2 is bleh as far as I'm concerned
I didn't play Kingdom Hearts until they released the HD remixes and wow I was really impressed with both 1.5 and 2.5 HD ReMiX. I have yet to play Dream Drop Distance, but I'd say my least favorite is Chain of Memories. Not because of the story or anything. I just wasn't a big fan of using cards for the gameplay.
The card system was horrible. I also found the way that levels worked to be pretty bad. As far into the game as I got, the bosses all seemed to be pretty much be the same as they were in KH1 rather than giving them a new set of attacks or something, which I felt was pretty lazy. Even with the crappy card system in place, they were still the same bosses.
I couldn't even force myself to sit through the game. I just watched the 'important bits' on youtube, which is something I very rarely do with a game which says a lot about how much I disliked it.
I don't particularly hate any of the games in the series, but I found the plot of KH2 to be lame. I enjoyed the plot of KH MUCH more, although I enjoyed the gameplay of KH2 a good bit. Although the camera system was fixed, the gameplay was streamlined and was much easier as a result, for better and for worse. I felt it was much too showy for its own good. The people behind KH2 wanted to make a spectacular game. That, they did. But it was spectacle at the loss of many opportunities, imo.
I liked the first one and I started Chain of Memories months ago and barely played and I still haven't started it again because I don't like the cards and I got really confused.
i don't hate any of them because i've been playing the series for over a decade and it's like asking which of my children i hate (i love the series so much)
however, i would say chain of memories (and re:chain) are my least favorite
Re: COM because it's got the same card battle system as the handheld, why in the ever living **** would I want to play on my PS2 and still have to use that battle system again?
HATED Birth By Sleep so much I sold it and my PSP, such a waste of time and money.
358/2 Days had a promising setup but lacked execution with routine missions that didn't deviate or add much development, Xion is an awful character, and it's a very boring take on what could have been an amazing recap of Roxas' time with the Organization.
I'm not a big fan of Dream Drop Distance (although it's one of my fav 3ds games as a whole). I didn't like the changing from Sora to Riku (and vise versa) especially during a boss.
I've only play Re:Coded, 365/2, and DDD (and obviously the first and second) though, so I don't really have thoughts on others yet.
Re:Coded and ( re: )CoM pretty much take the cake. Awful card system and then an awful port of a cell phone title. Much enjoyed all the other Kingdom Hearts titles otherwise.
