Kinda wish Harv's house was on my island.

His house is super adorable and just would work so well in my island. I also love using his house to dress my villagers up to see what clothes would look good on them. But I really hate travelling there so I barely do it. I just don't want these cute buildings or destinations on separate islands I hate too many loading screens and places where it takes a lot of effort to get there. Maybe next time they can just have a bridge that connects to their island. Could be cute.

This would be a great addition! Or even just like a little portable photo shack as a new building so it doesn't take up too much space. I've never even really used Harv's island because it takes too much effort, but I could definitely see myself using it all the time if this was a thing!

Yeah, I realllly don't want them to add more places to travel to talking to those dodos just isn't fun and really deters me from using them unless for a good reason. I don't mind a little loading street like main street, but going through that dialogue is such a pain.

right? if the dialogues were quicker, it'll be better. i know nintendo likes manual menus for animal crossing, but since it's an "airport" now with TONS of options, couldn't they make some options for certain places to have a machine for it and make it a quicker process?

I think Nintendo need to chill out on the dodos dialogue. After x amount of time surely I don’t need to go through the whole rigmarole as if it was my first time
I also never send letters because you have to do one at a time with more of the same dialogue.
Give me my own boat at my dock that I can travel about in. Without NPC interaction.

The thing is, I often have the urge to go there multiple times a day so having it as a completely separate island is frustrating for me. But I understand if to someone else it feels special because there isn't a need to go there daily. For me personally, it would be awesome to just pop in to try a dress on Megan and leave right away, then later that day just go in to test a hat on Marina, and then later on even design a room. But because it's on a different island, I just never ever go. Except for the wedding stuff, and even that's a chore now

tbh let's be real the intention is more like minimizing the buildings/locations.

residential services used to be = town hall with isabelle, nook's homes with tom, bulletin board, plaza (with the tree & NPC's), police station's lost & found, club LOL (k.k. slider), add harriet into the mix too because the ABD is there with the hairstyles
airport = train station, kapp'n, post office, going to hav's island

all separate areas into one. so it is actually convenience, but then again at the same time we kinda lost the wide variety of the game and multiple places or NPC's we can visit (this is arguable though & a larger topic, everyone will have different opinions if it's good or not depending on the person's preference)
and we will use it anyway to go to nook miles islands right

Yeah his house is nicer than mine whyyy XD especially with the little wind charm and stuff. Love the design so much. I'd put it in my shopping area district. Or maybe near the campsite.

I do not want him in my town at all. I had a really hard time decorating around the nooks cranny area ( because the building had too much brown coloring ). I finally got it looking nice, but I feel like if they added Harvey’s, I would have a difficult time again.

Yeah it makes sense why you would want it on your island, it'd be nice if we could at least change villager outfits on the island, maybe at able sisters or something.

However I'm one of those who want to minimise the amount of buildings on the island itself as they don't really fit my theme. I hope we'll be able to change the outward look of some of the buildings in an update!

I agree. I only went to Harv's island once when he first appeared. I never stepped foot back there until the Cyrus & Reese event.
