Kind of new to game, not sure how island visits work

When you visit or invite others to your island to buy seeds etc., they don't have the ability to snag your decorations or otherwise trash your island correct?

No, they're not able to dig up your flowers, chop down your trees, or tamper with your town in any way as both the shovel and axe aren't allowed to be used by visitors in a town that isn't their own. I would assume the same goes for decorations and fencing too.

What they can do is shake trees to pick up fruit, pick your flowers or run over them (at least they can't be killed in this game), and pick up any other items that are dropped (not placed as a decoration) on the floor or on top of furniture around your island (ie. money, DIY recipes, etc.)
