Kind of discouraged

I've been playing this game religiously for a while now and I was trying to keep my perfect town for 15 days and somehow yesterday it was on the so-so rails. Then my game froze and I got even more upset (I forgot to save) but when it finally got fixed I spoke with Isabelle and game was perfect again. So I saved.

Now today I TTd to Saturday because yesterday I didn't have time to get that trick to get KKs picture and Idk why but I spoke with Isabelle and she said it was average again T_T she complained about the garbage and I picked up some ores even though it was only like 4 of them. There are no weeds either I have the beautiful town ordinance. I don't know what triggered this average town out of nowhere.


Anyway the point is I just want someone to make me feel better about this fail I guess. I have a really hectic schedule and I have to start taking college more seriously and one of the reasons I wanted to get this gold watering can ASAP was because I wanted to get it over with (the 15 days). I find this game really fun and relaxing but I'm a bit discouraged to start the 15 days again *sigh*. Please reply I would like to talk to someone about my little problem. Also I don't know if this is the right forum for this?

I personally would move it to New Leaf.

But still, just make sure to keep checking up on your town to make sure nothing bad happens. I don't really know about this problem too much.

Do you have any weeds? A good way to know is to ask Leif. It can be difficult, time travel carefully so you don't sprout a bunch of weeds. As for the trash, it could be because of the time traveling. I time traveled when the street lamp was being cancelled and when I went back to the day after I did that, it was still there. I had to wait until it was where I TT'd to. Luckily I only traveled a few days.

Same here, I think I went onto my 13th or 14th day and Isabelle told me it wasn't a perfect rating anymore.
Out of panic I resetted and tried again, somehow I got perfect? :/

You may have buried items that are not pitfalls or un-assessed fossils or gyroids. Anything that are not those will be considered trash. As for things that can dropped on the ground, you can have 10 of anything besides regular fruits before it can be considered for non-perfectness. Weeds are included in the 10. I'm not sure, but I think buried and dropped both count into the 10. The 10th might be a lost item or something that you need to pick up.

You may be losing a flower or something, since the game counts flowers. Try to monitor the number. Don't chop up trees, don't plant more trees, don't demolish any PWPs. Once you get perfect town rating, don't do anything else to your town besides weed and pick up trash until the 15 days are up.

Check your whole town first before checking in with Isabelle. It counts towards the 15 days as long as Isabelle says the town is perfect, regardless if you started your town as non-perfect in the morning. The day must end with a perfect town rating.

Why reset? It's okay if she says its not perfect, it just has to be perfect again by the end of the day. She tells you what you need to fix.

It took me longer than 15 days. She was out in the plaza for an event all day, so I didn't get to speak with her. Just keep at it, she'll give it to you! And if you have more people playing, each one gets a golden can, so if you're alone, you might want to add someone for another can.
