Kimono Sleeves?

I'm sure others have noticed as well, but I've noticed that when my player wears a kimono she often rolls the sleeves up:

This actually bothers me quite a bit. I'm wondering if it has to do with the current month? Cause I feel like at first the sleeves were always down and now all of a sudden they're always rolled up. I feel like at one point they may have randomly rolled back down but idk.

Luckily kimono designs created by other players don't do this, so I often find myself just wearing those and not the actual kimono clothing. I really don't like the way the rolled up sleeves look.

How dd you get the Blossoming Kimono? Is it via the Cherry Blossom Wand?

Ahh I see. Tysm for telling me! I didn't realize that wearing a bag would affect the sleeves, I'll have to remember that!

EDIT: I just took my shoulder bag off and tried again. The sleeves are still rolled up.

Unfortunately its the bags, I wish the side bags didn't since they don't interfere with the sleeves

That one is rolled up pretty high... I think I remember mine being 2/3s rolled up. I'll have to check or I'm seeing things. I don't want them rolled up either.

I think there is one I found that didn't roll up the sleeves but I'm not sure if it's a kimono...

Hm, I don’t know then. Someone mentioned that some tools can do it, so maybe if you’re holding a certain tool right now that’s what’s doing it? I haven’t personally noticed what tools can cause the sleeves to roll up, so idk.

Okay so I just unequipped my tool and my shoulder bag and now they're down. That's so weird that a bag would affect it, designed kimonos aren't affected at all.

they roll up if you wear a purse or hold the ladder.

Some also have the traditional tie wrap, I believe.
Custom patterns don't have it I think

I'm pretty sure they're always tied up with tasuki.

I think there is one I found that didn't roll up the sleeves but I'm not sure if it's a kimono...

It may be a yukata. I don't think those tie up.

Just learned it myself when I googled "kimono tied sleeves."

They roll up when you wear a bag or use a ladder, it does not affect custom design kimonos though.

thats so interesting... i had no idea..

tbh the sleeves rolled up makes me kind of mad, i love the bags/purses and i cant wear kimonos with them :/
