So some of you are probably searching desperately for your dreamies... while the rest of you have successfuly found ALL your dreamies! If so, congrats! But there is just one thing... making sure THEY DON'T MOVE!:mad:

Villagers move out like migrating ducks! And you have to keep checking up on your game about every other day just so none of them move! Think having all your dreamies is great? Well, it's not all that great. Especially when you find out one of them moved... like my Francine! (RIP Francine! ;^; ) or perhaps when you find out one of them is already in boxes... like MY BEST BRO KID CAT! (Kid Cat why... ;_; ) and the worst part is, you can NEVER have those villagers back until you void 16 other villagers (curse you villager system!)

Luckily some of us have solutions to this problem, like having a second game for instance! But then again you have to check up on them in your other town, and that's TWICE as much work!

Anyone else feeling as annoyed as I am by this? :/

Yup, I really don't get the moving mechanic in this game and it really doesn't make sense to me how villagers that you love the most and are the nicest to are the ones who want to move out the fastest. Wouldn't it be the opposite?! haha. I just held a ceremony for a new lighthouse, and as soon as the ceremony was over Genji pinged and said he wanted to move. Like seriously.. he's asked the move the most. Out of all my villagers it's always him who wants to leave, although there was about more than a few animals at the ceremony. -.- Why couldn't Miranda ask to leave..

Anyway, I have two copies right and the majority of the time it's just too much work for me to check both and I miss about one day of animal crossing on both copies so I boot it up and find Coco is moving in my main town. Fair enough, I never liked her anyway and she was a starter so i'm happy to see her go but it doesn't just stop there... I log onto my cycle town and find out Julian also moved without telling me! it was like two moves in one day except I was happy about one of them. (Coco)

Ignore the grammar mistake in the title lol

Ugh, I get that they made the 16 neighbor cycle thing because in the older games, neighbors kept moving back in... BUT REALLY? Why does it have to be 16? 16! WHY?! Why not just have it where they can't move back until 16 have been cycled out, but you can still get them from inviting them to stay from other towns? Honestly, things would be better this way...

I have yet to achieve all of my dreamies, but I know when I do, it's gonna be so hard to keep them all in my town. ;-;

It really is a pain. I get a little stressed out knowing knowing I have to keep playing daily just so I know who wants to move out. x.x It's a shame there isn't an ordinance (that doesn't interfere with the beautiful, bell boom, & time ordinances) for refusing villagers to move out in case you want to take a break from playing. I wish Nintendo would release a patch for that tbh.

I agree the 16 villager cycle is way too much. I think 5 or 8 would be more realistic.
