How many times do you have to visit her in your town before she will build her shop? And do you have to make alt. people and get their fortunes read too or can you do it with just the Mayor??

You have to visit 20 times. You can make alternates but I believe the last visit has to be with your mayor so she can suggest the shop. ^^

I guess I haven't had 20 fortunes yet but it sure feels like I have. Every time she comes to my town I get a fortune and every time she doesn't ask about opening her shop. I hope I hit 20 fortunes soon. Hers is the only shop I don't have open/upgraded. :/

^ Same. I have 2 characters (Me and my sister, the mayor) and I get 2 fortunes every time she comes. I've also received a fortune from Katrina from a friend's town but idk if that counts. It feels like I've had 20 fortunes told :c
