I think the good luck just lasts until 11pm.

This comes in handy when you need good luck to get the special item at Katrina's shop, once she opens it.

what do you mean? I have had the game awhile, but just went to her the first time today haha I didn;t even kno u get a shop!

If you get your fortune read by her 20 times, she opens up a shop. You can get special rare items from her shop for 10,000 bells, but you have to have good luck.

oooh I never knew she sells rare items like those. What Charity means is that if you get your fortune read from her 20 times, something like a Fortune Telling shop or whatever will show up on the public works project list. (thats what I think anyway, I haven't tried it yet)
