I haven't heard of any plans like that, but if it makes you feel any better I'm in America and have a 100% empty showcase. For some reason I never get spotpass or streetpass things for this game.

She has the lunch tray!!! Whoo can't wait to get her because Cyrus can change the meals on the tray so I can make it look like there different "t.v. dinner" trays in the kitchen and lying around the living room.

Reggie's house came first around June 24, followed by Rich around July 3, then Lizzy came around July 22, and now Kate. All of them came via SpotPass.

They can be considered special because they're from Nintendo employees. But honestly I have seen houses that but Reggie and Rich's to shame so you're correct in them not being particularly special.

I still think they're pretty interesting, but I'm surprised by the fact that we get Houses from Nintendo. I haven't really seen it broadcasted on the official Animal Crossing site or many blogs.
