Kapp'n and Brewster

I have the new update, and yet Kapp'n and the Blathers thought bubble for Brewster haven't shown up yet...

The most likely reason is because you don't yet have a 3 star island. You can find this out by speaking to Isabelle in Resident Services.

I'm in the same boat on my new save file, but placing furniture outside, planting flowers, and clearing weeds can help you get there sooner. I believe they show up after KK Slider holds his first concert in your plaza.

Have you donated at least one thing into every category?

In the museum, yeah. My fossil section is full, and I think at the very least 5 in the others.

For Kapp'n, you need to have had K.K.'s concert for achieving a 3-star island.

As for Brewster, you need to have the upgraded museum and have donated 1 of every section (including sea creature) while having had Kapp'n unlocked.
